Helmholtz theory of accommodation

Helmholtz the theory of accommodation (N. of L. F. Helmholtz, the German physicist and the physiologist, 1821-1894) – the theory of the physiological mechanism of accommodation of an eye according to which against the background of reduction of a ciliary muscle increase of curvature of a crystalline lens and relaxation of a linking of a ciliary corbel (a tsinnovy sheaf) is noted.
