Gematopiometra (haematopyometra; Greek haimatos, haima – blood + Greek pyon – pus + metra – a uterus) – the concentration of pus and blood in a cavity of the uterus caused by the obturation (closing of a gleam) of the cervical channel connected with a malignant new growth in a uterus.
