The trichuriasis is caused by the Trichocephalus trichiurus activator (the name, more usual for us, – a threadworm). The trichuriasis is followed by the neurotic phenomena and a dispeptic syndrome. As a rule, at the diagnosis a trichuriasis symptoms gradually progress for several years that demonstrates chronic disease.

Puberal parasites live in a large intestine. Their front part which makes more than a half from the total length of a body is strongly extended. Back end, on the contrary, short and thick. In our country the trichuriasis at children and adults regularly comes to light in areas of the Central Black Earth and in the North Caucasus. By the way, by the number of the diseased this infection takes the second place after an ascaridosis.

Threadworms injure a mucous membrane of intestines. Owing to penetration into wounds of microbic flora and toxins, at the person inflammatory processes begin to develop. Besides, damages of small vessels to walls of thick and thin guts provoke anemia. Toxins which are emitted in the course of life activity of activators exert impact on all bodies and systems. Most strongly the trichuriasis mentions a nervous system. Treatment of a trichuriasis

At treatment of a trichuriasis for extermination of parasites Naftamonum is used. The general dosage of drug depends on age of the patient and a condition of its immune system. In certain cases Naftamonum can be replaced with success on метендазол, but also in that, and in other case it is necessary to control efficiency of the conducted courses and to adjust a medicine dosage if there is no positive effect. Samples a calla are taken in 2 and 4 weeks after an initiation of treatment.

Symptoms of a trichuriasis are usually shown at those people who live near the crude, darkened places dirtied by excrements of the person. It is necessary for prevention of infection:

  • to protect the soil from pollution with excrements;
  • it is strict to follow elementary rules of personal hygiene;
  • before the use carefully to wash vegetables and fruit;
  • to boil the water taken from open reservoirs and wells.
