Medicinal nephropathy

Description:

At drug intake there can be morbid conditions which are characterized by functional and organic lesions of kidneys.

Symptoms of the Medicinal nephropathy:

Clinical manifestations consist of the general manifestations of a drug disease (temperature increase, emergence of rash on skin, intoxication) and nephropathy signs — a glomerulonephritis, intersticial nephrite, a nephrotic syndrome, a tubulopatiya, an uric syndrome etc. Very often there can be an acute and chronic renal failure.

Feature of development of a medicinal glomerulonephritis is lack of a considerable hamaturia and arterial hypertension.

Reasons of the Medicinal nephropathy:

In most cases medicamentous a nephropathy are connected with disturbance of an immune response on a number of drugs (the antibiotics anesthetizing sulfanamide means, salts of heavy metals, etc.) or on vaccines and serums. These damages of kidneys are characterized generally by defeat of renal balls with adjournment of complexes antigen — an antibody in their structures and emergence of glomerular functional disturbances. Treatment of the Medicinal nephropathy:

Treatment consists first of all in cancellation of medicines against the background of which the nephropathy develops. Dietary and medicinal treatment depends on character of a nephropathy. At immune genesis of nefropatiya hormones are shown (Prednisolonum, Triamcinolonum, etc.).

Prevention consists in careful collecting the allergic anamnesis, lawful prescription of medicines, especially at the raised sensitization to them, prevention of use of nephrotoxic drugs, absence of diseases of kidneys; in case of inevitability of medicinal therapy regular control of the analysis of urine is carried out.
