General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: lipophilic extract from fruits of a palm tree sawtooth (Extr. Serenoa repens) - 320 mg (85 - 95% of fatty acids);

excipients: gelatin, glycerin, titanium dioxide (Е 171), ferrous oxide black (Е 172), ferrous oxide red (Е 172).

Description. Oval, brown opaque soft gelatin capsules; capsules place an oil emulsion of yellowy-brown color

Pharmacological properties:

Extract components from fruits of a palm tree of sawtooth have антиандрогенні effects. The ingibition of 5-A-reductase, testosterone catalyzing transformation into dihydrotestosterone (DGT) is described. The increased DGT values which have affinity with receptors of androgens 10 times higher, than testosterone in this connection to it, generally attribute responsibility for development of a hyperplasia of a prostate were found in patients with a benign hyperplasia of a prostate. Researches showed that under the influence of lipophilic extracts from fruits of a palm tree sawtooth complaints at an urination are reduced: the low flow of urine, the improved pollakiuria, a nocturia, volume of a residual urine decreases. Other factors which can interfere with a prostate hyperplasia: inhibition of binding of receptors of prolactin and disturbance of processes of signal transmission, antiinflammatory action due to braking of a 5-l_pooksigenaza; inhibition of proliferation of an epithelium of a prostate, antiedematous action.

Extract from fruits of a palm tree of sawtooth is quickly soaked up. After oral administration the maximum concentration in a blood plasma is reached approximately in 1,5 hours.

Indications to use:

Disturbances of an urination at a benign hyperplasia (adenoma) of a prostate of I and II stages, and also at chronic prostatitis.

Route of administration and doses:

Apply on 1 capsule of drug Prostaker daily at the same time. The capsule is swallowed entirely after food and washed down with enough liquid. Duration of treatment depends on a look, severity and the course of a disease and is not limited to time. Reduction of manifestations of symptoms of a disease can expect only in 6 weeks of treatment. Full efficiency can be reached not earlier than in 3 months. If manifestations of symptoms of a disease do not decrease or, on the contrary, increase, then it is necessary to see a doctor.

Features of use:
