General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: enzyme hyaluronidase (64 UE in 1 bottle).

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmakolinamika. Drug contains hyaluronidase in quality of active agent. As specific substrate of hyaluronidase serves hyaluronic acid: enzyme causes a rupture of communication between C1 of an atsetilglyukozamin and C4 of glucuronic acid.

Drug reduces viscosity of hyaluronic acid. Increases permeability of fabrics, improves their trophicity, increases elasticity of rubtsovoizmenenny sites, promotes a rassasyvaniye of hematomas, elimination of contractures, increases mobility of joints. Facilitates diffusion of liquids in interfabric space ("spreading factor").

Effect of hyaluronidase has reversible character: at reduction of its concentration viscosity of hyaluronic acid is recovered. At intradermal introduction duration of effect of drug makes 48 hours.

Indications to use:

The main indications to use of a lidaza are contractures of joints, hems after burns and operations, an ankylosing spondylarthritis, hematomas, a scleroderma, traumatic defeats of textures and peripheral nerves (a plexitis, neuritis), a serious illness of lumbar disks.

Route of administration and doses:

Lidaza represents specially purified drug suitable for parenteral (hypodermic, intramuscular) and inhalation use. For injections contents of a bottle are dissolved in 1 ml of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride or in 1 ml of 0,5% of solution of novocaine, for inhalations — in 5 ml of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride.

When using for the purpose of therapy at contractures of joints, hems, an ankylosing spondylarthritis, a tendovaginitis, a hematoma, etc. lidaza solution (64 UE into 1 ml) is entered near the space of defeat for skin or for the cicatricial changed fabrics. Injections make daily or every other day; the course of treatment consists of 6 — 10 — 15 and more injections. The course of treatment is repeated if necessary.

The TB patient of lungs with productive character of an inflammation the lidaza is appointed in the form of inhalations which carry out daily, once a day, applying 5 ml of solution (64 UE). The course of treatment consists of 20 — 25 inhalations. Features of use:

It is not recommended to combine with estrogen. At pregnancy and breastfeeding it is used only in urgent cases.

Side effects:

Drug is usually well transferred. Emergence of allergic reactions is in some cases possible, in the place of an injection pain and infiltrates are possible. Very seldom at use of drug there can be a fibrillation of ventricles.

Interaction with other medicines:

Lidaza improves absorption of the medicines administered subcutaneously or intramusculary accelerates anesthesia at administration of local anesthetics.

Contraindications:

Use of a lidaza is contraindicated at the increased individual sensitivity to drug, malignant new growths, acute inflammatory and infectious diseases, pulmonary bleedings and a blood spitting, a pulmonary tuberculosis with respiratory insufficiency, fresh vitreous hemorrhages.

Overdose:

Symptoms: fever, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tachycardia and hypotension, local hypostasis, small tortoiseshell, erythema.

Treatment: administration of adrenaline, glucocorticoids; use of antihistaminic drugs.
