General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: an anise ordinary fruits - 0,05g, a dogrose fruits - 0,7g, kidney birches - 0,025g, a peppermint leaves - 0,05g, a plantain big leaves - 0,1125g, a sage leaves - 0,075g, a mallow medicinal a grass - 0,0375g, a marjoram ordinary a grass - 0,0875g, the St. John's Wort which is made a hole a grass - 0,1375g, a thyme creeping (a grass thyme) - 0,125g, a horsetail field a grass - 0,05g, a camel prickle a grass - 0,1g, calendulas flowers - 0,05g, tansies flowers - 0,12g, camomiles flowers - 0,0875g, glycyrrhizas roots - 0,05g, a ginseng tincture - 0,25 ml, the grenade of ordinary juice - 50,0 ml.

Excipients: natural honey, sugar, ethanol of 96%, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Extracts of 17 medicinal plants growing in the territory of Central Asia are a part Avicenna of balm. Water спиртовый infusion of the medicinal plants which are a part of balm contains a complex of biologically active compounds: carotinoids, flavonoids, tannins, organic acids, amino acids, vitamins, micro and macrocells, polysaccharides, saponins.

Each plant and honey mountain, being a part of balm, contain biologically active agents providing a wide range of pharmacological action.

The anise - detains putrefactive and fermentative processes in intestines, slows down development of microbes, removes spasms of abdominal organs.

Dogrose - the polyvitaminic, fortifying and increasing body resistance means.

Birch kidneys - possess diuretic, cholagogue, disinfecting and expectorant action.

Peppermint - gastric, anticonvulsant, antiinflammatory, sudorific and anesthetic.

The plantain big - has the healing effect on wounds, burns, abscesses, removes hypostases of respiratory tracts.

Indications to use:

As a part of complex therapy, during recovery:

- for increase in a potentiality;

- cough at catarrhal diseases;

- chronic gastritis, dyskinesia of biliary tract, stagnation of bile, tendency to locks;

- diseases of cardiovascular system (cardioneurosis);

- disturbances of lipidic exchange, lipidemia;

- increase in nonspecific resistance of an organism, at patients with secondary immunological insufficiency, including at the patients receiving radiotheraphy.

Topical administration:

- as local anti-inflammatory drug with easy analgesic effect for treatment of posttraumatic and rheumatic pains;

- as an antiseptic agent at inflammatory diseases of a throat and oral cavity;

- for acceleration of healing of burns, wounds and frostbites and removal of an inflammation and an itch in places of stings of insects.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, on 2-4 teaspoons (10-20 ml) undiluted or divorced in 50-100 ml of water or tea of drug for half an hour to food 2-3 times a day, at a hyperoxemia in an hour after food.

Topical administration at acute or aggravations chronic inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat to dilute 3 teaspoons of drug in ½ glasses of water (15 ml in 100 ml) and to rinse a mouth or a throat three times a day within 1-3 minutes.

At joint pains and the closed traumatic damage of soft tissues to apply necessary amount of balm on skin on the painful site and to pound before full absorption then it is possible to impose the dry warming compress or wrapping.

At stings of insects, inflammatory diseases of skin (without secondary damage of integuments) and mucous to moisten with necessary amount of drug of the place of defeats.

Features of use:

Avicenna balm needs to be applied with precaution the patient with heart failure.

It is necessary to be careful at management of transport or moving mechanisms since drug contains alcohol.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: dermahemia, rash, itch.

Interaction with other medicines:

Are not established.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity;

- nephrites, renal and liver failure;

- cirrhosis, obturation;

- pregnancy and lactation;

- children's age up to 18 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms - are possible nausea, vomiting.

Treatment - symptomatic.
