General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 10,2 mg of thiamin of mononitrate, 4 mg of Riboflavinum, 20 mg of niacinamide, 10,2 mg of a pyridoxine of a hydrochloride, 30 mg of calcium of pantothenate, 250 ME cholecalciferols.

Excipients: magnesium stearate, potato starch, sorbitol.

Structure of a cover of the capsule: gelatin, глицерол, sodium lauryl sulfate, the water purified titanium dioxide, dyes - red charming (E129), quinolinic yellow (E104), diamond blue (E133).

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Pharmacological properties of medicine are caused by pharmacological properties of the components which are its part.

Thiamin mononitrate (B1 vitamin) at receipt in an organism interacts with adenosine triphosphoric acid with formation of thiamin of a pyrophosphate which is the coenzyme (cocarboxylase) participating in carbohydrate metabolism, in functioning of a nervous system.

Cocarboxylase, as we know, is used for elimination of acidosis of a diabetic origin, a renal and liver failure, a respiratory acidosis at a chronic pulmonary and cordial syndrome, a diabetic and hepatic coma, insufficiency of coronary circulation, various pathological processes demanding improvement of carbohydrate metabolism.

B1 vitamin protects membranes from products of peroxide oxidation of lipids.

It is soaked up preferential in a duodenal and small bowel.

Riboflavinum (B2 vitamin) in an organism turns into the active fosforilirovanny forms providing oxidation-reduction processes has catalytic effect on cellular respiration and visual perception.

Coming to an organism, it is phosphorylated, turns into piridoksal-5-phosphate, is a part of the enzymes which are carrying out decarboxylation and interamination of amino acids and promotes transportation of amino acids through a cellular membrane.

Calcium is necessary for formation of a bone tissue, for transfer of nervous impulses, normal activity of a myocardium.

Cholecalciferol (D3 vitamin) is the activator of absorption of calcium and phosphorus in intestines, a reabsorption of calcium and phosphorus in kidneys, calcium transport through membranes and cells, development of immune system, remodeling of a bone tissue, proliferation and a differentiation of cells, synthesis of lipids and a number of hormones, functional activity of cardiovascular system and digestive tract, decrease in level of parathyroid hormone in blood.

Absorption of cholecalciferol happens in a small intestine. 50-70% of the accepted vitamin dose are usually acquired. The maximum concentration is reached in 8-18 hours. Its assimilation is promoted by bile.

Thus, the vitamins which are a part of Vitadiabetokapsa® influence all types of exchange, in particular at carbohydrate metabolism:

- thiamin mononitrate – interacts with ATP with formation of thiamin of a pyrophosphate which is the coenzyme (cocarboxylase) participating in carbohydrate metabolism;

- Riboflavinum – increases sensitivity of hepatic cells to effect of insulin;

 - niacinamide, a pyridoxine a hydrochloride, calcium pantothenate – are a part of prosthetic groups of the enzymes participating in carbohydrate metabolism;

- cholecalciferol – regulates synthesis of glucocorticoids and insulin).

Clinical trials of R. of Schwarz (1993), And. Axelrod (1995),  (2000), etc. showed to T. A. Chernyshova efficiency of vitamins of group B at addition to complex treatment of the patients suffering from a diabetes mellitus.

Indications to use:

Витадиабетокапс® it is shown for complex treatment of patients with a diabetes mellitus for the purpose of completion of a vitamin deficiency, for complex treatment of diseases of a liver and a pancreas (cirrhosis, pancreatitis, etc.), and also for reduction of weight of the complications accompanying a diabetes mellitus (a retinopathy, a nephropathy, neuropathy, etc.).

Route of administration and doses:

Apply on 1 capsule a day, after food, washing down with water.

Features of use:

For strengthening of effect of the vitamins which are contained in drug at its reception it is necessary to use methionine or metioninsoderzhashchy products (cottage cheese, buckwheat cereal, walnuts, etc.). If necessary to combine drug with an antioxidant complex with zinc (1 capsule a day).

Vitamin P drugs (rutosides), possessing antiagregantny action, improving microcirculation, slow down development of a diabetic retinopathy and thus are shown in complex therapy of effects of diabetes in combination with this drug.

It is necessary to be careful at purpose of high doses of drug the patient with coronary heart disease because of presence of a pyridoxine of a hydrochloride.

Side effects:

At prolonged use of high doses of niacinamide tolerance to glucose can decrease.

The allergic reactions to separate components of drug disappearing later cancellations are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Due to the presence at Vitadiabetokapse® of a pyridoxine of a hydrochloride it is not necessary to use it at parkinsonism along with the drugs influencing dopaminergic transfer to TsNS not to reduce their effects.

At prolonged use at a diabetes mellitus it is not necessary to appoint along with Vitadiabetokapsom® ascorbic acid, especially in high doses as in this case oppression of the insulyarny device of a pancreas is possible.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to the Vitadiabetokapsa® components;

- pregnancy and lactation;

- children's age up to 14 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms: at overdose there is strengthening of symptoms of side effect of drug. Emergence of nervous excitement, tachycardia, pain in heart is possible.

Treatment: includes a gastric lavage, administration of absorbent carbon, use of symptomatic means. The isoniazid is a vitamin antidote v6.

Storage conditions:

Store in the place protected from moisture and light at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. Store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years.
