Magnesium plus

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents:

Magnesium lactate                                              of 200 mg
Magnesium carbonate                                          of 100 mg
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6 Vitamin)          of 2 mg
Cyanocobalamine (B12 Vitamin)                     of 0,001 mg
Folic acid                                          of 0,2 mg

Excipients: sodium bicarbonate (Natrii hydrocarbonas), citric acid, sodium saccharinate, sorbitol, polyethyleneglycol (macrogoal), aromatic additive.

Pharmacological properties:

Magnesium - the vital element. Plays an important role in activity of a nervous system, participates in regulation of transfer of nervous impulses and in reduction of muscles, in the majority of reactions of a metabolism, promotes production and consumption of energy, plays an important physiological role in maintenance of ionic balance.
The lack of magnesium is shown in the form of neuromuscular disturbances (muscular weakness, trembling, spasms, spasms), mental disturbances (sleeplessness, irritability, a condition of alarm), disturbances of a cordial rhythm (premature ventricular contraction, tachycardia) and activity of digestive tract (pains, diarrhea, spasms, intestines swelling).
B6 vitamin plays an important role in a metabolism, promotes maintenance of structure and function of bones, teeth, gums; exerts impact on an erythrogenesis, promotes normal functioning of a nervous system and supplements effect of magnesium.
B12 vitamin and folic acid participate in many enzymatic reactions.

Indications to use:

Deficit of magnesium and related states.

Route of administration and doses:

Adults: on 1-2 tablets.
Children from 6 to 12 years - 1/2 tablets.
To accept in the first half of day, previously having dissolved in a glass of water.

Features of use:

In case of the accompanying deficit of calcium, deficit of magnesium has to be eliminated prior to introduction of additional reception of calcium.
At the frequent use of purgatives, alcohol, the raised exercise and mental stresses the need for magnesium increases.

 

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, dispeptic frustration (diarrhea, abdominal pains). At use in the raised doses development of a gipermagniyemiya is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Phosphates and salts of calcium reduce absorption of magnesium in digestive tract. Drugs of magnesium reduce tetracycline absorption, it is recommended to do an interval of 3 hours before use MAGNESIUM PLUS. B6 vitamin oppresses activity of the Levodopa.

Contraindications:

– The expressed renal failure (the clearance of creatinine is less than 30 ml/min.).
– Hypersensitivity to drug components.
– Children's age up to 6 years.

With care: at moderate insufficiency of function of kidneys as there is a risk of development of a gipermagniyemiya.

PERIOD OF PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
Drug can be used during pregnancy only on doctor's orders.

Magnesium gets into breast milk therefore it is necessary to avoid use of drug during breastfeeding.

Overdose:

Overdose symptoms: falling of arterial pressure, nausea, vomiting, delay of reflexes, respiratory depression, coma, cardiac standstill and cardioplegia, anury.
Treatment: regidratation, artificial diuresis. At a renal failure the hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is necessary.

Storage conditions:

To store in the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C.
To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Tablets are sparkling. On 10, 12 tablets in a plastic case. On 1 case in a cardboard pack or in a pack envelope with the device for suspension with the application instruction.
