Description:
The alarm is the vague, unpleasant emotional state which is characterized by expectation of adverse succession of events, existence of bad presentiments, fear, tension and concern. The alarm differs from fear in the fact that the condition of alarm is usually pointless while the fear assumes existence of the object causing it, the person, events or situations.
Alarm symptoms:
The alarm happens normal reaction of an organism (promotes adaptation) and pathological.
The normal (adaptive) alarm is connected with the menacing situation, amplifies at increase in its importance for an organism, increases in conditions of deficit of time and information. The adaptive alarm, as a rule, - a passing state, and it seriously does not break activity of the person.
Emergence of pathological alarm is defined internal (both physiological, and psychological) by the reasons though it can be provoked also by external circumstances (but then expressiveness of alarm is inadequate to psychoinjury force). So, the pathological alarm is not connected with real threat and is inadequate to the importance of a situation. Radical difference of pathological alarm from normal consists that it significantly breaks quality of human life and its activity.
The normal alarm is subjectively experienced as unpleasant feeling of the mental discomfort connected with uncertainty of perspectives. The most frequent manifestations of normal alarm – tension, doubts and unpleasant presentiments.
At various options of pathological alarm these experiences usually gain additional lines: the feeling of own helplessness, feeling of the approaching accident strained and exhausting physically expectation of troubles, concerns seizing consciousness, fluctuations and doubts. Depending on conditions of emergence and the nature of manifestation allocate three main types of pathological alarm: pristupoobrazny, constant and post-stressful.

Therefore it is important to any educated person to have skills of identification of alarming states and the nobility how to help the alarming friends and relatives.
The alarm is the universal phenomenon connected with reaction to a stress. Its purpose – adaptation, mobilization of all forces of an organism for fast changing of behavior and adaptation to the changed living conditions.
Treatment of Alarm:
The main groups of drugs for treatment of alarm:
* Tranquilizers of a benzodiazepine row (Phenazepamum, diazepam, to alprazola, clonazepam, etc.)
* Antidepressants
- selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (paksit, Prozac, золофт, tsipramit, ципролекс)
- tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline)
- drugs of double action (ремерон, ekset, a simbalta)
* Neuroleptics (сонапакс, eglonyl, тиаприд, etc.)
* Nebenzodivazepinovy tranquilizers (Ataraxum)
