General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 1 l of solution contains: povidone - 60 g, chloride sodium - 5,5 g, chloride potassium - 0,42 g, hexahydrate Calcii chloridum - 0,5 g, hexahydrate chloride magnesium - 0,005 g, Natrii hydrocarbonas - 0,23 g;
excipient: water for injections.
main physical and chemical properties: transparent liquid of yellow color.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Neohaemodesum belongs to plasma substituting solutions, increases suspension properties of blood, reduces its viscosity. As disintoxication means connects toxic products which are in a circulatory bed, and brings them through kidneys out of an organism.
 
Pharmacokinetics. At intravenous administration effect of drug is had in process of its receipt in blood. The effect remains on an extent of 3-12 h that depends on a functional condition of kidneys and the speed of blood circulation. Out of an organism it is brought by kidneys, partially out of digestive tract.

Indications to use:

Desintoxication of an organism at infectious diseases which are followed by toxicoses; a burn disease in intoxication phase (the 2-5th day); an acute radial illness in intoxication phase; peritonitis and impassability of intestines (in before - and after the operational period); acute liver failure of various etiology; thyrotoxicoses; sepsis; liver diseases in a phase of a liver failure.

Route of administration and doses:

Enter intravenously, kapelno with a speed of 20-40 thaws in 1 min. Before introduction solution is warmed up to 35-37os. For adults the single dose makes 400 ml. To children at the age of 6–9 years – to 100 ml; 10–15 years – to 150 ml. Repeated infusions of neohaemodesum are performed according to indications, but not earlier than in 10–12 hours after its previous introduction. A course of treatment – no more than 5 days.

Features of use:

The patient with the broken secretory function of kidneys the drug is administered with care. Treatment at heavy intoxications needs to be carried out under the supervision of the doctor.
 
At bystry infusion arterial hypotension, tachycardia, the complicated breath that demands the termination of administration of drug and purpose of Calcii chloridum (intravenously), ephedrine, means which affect cardiovascular system, Polyglucinum can be observed.
 
As it is unknown whether drug gets into breast milk, it is not necessary to use it feeding грудьюматерям.

Side effects:

The lowering of arterial pressure, fervescence with a fever, tachycardia, the complicated breath, allergic reactions (erubescence, an itch), an acute anaphylaxis is possible. Side effect amplifies at bystry administration of drug.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is impossible to add other medicines to Neogemodez's solution.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug (in particular existence in the anamnesis of reactions to polyvinylpirrolidone), the expressed cardiovascular and pulmonary insufficiency, a hemorrhagic stroke, bronchial asthma, acute nephrite, disastrous allergic and immunodepressive states; feeding period breast; pregnancy; children's age up to 6 years.

Overdose:

It is shown mainly by the overhydratation and arterial hypotension demanding the termination of administration of drug. Therapy is symptomatic.

Storage conditions:

To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity – 5 years.
