Диклофенак-Акри®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 g of diclofenac of sodium.

Excipients: poly(ethylene oxide) 1500, poly(ethylene oxide) 400, propylene glycol, succinic acid, Dimexidum.

Ointment Diclofenac Acre has the local antiinflammatory and anesthetizing effect.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Inhibiting synthesis of prostaglandins, drug reduces the pain caused by an inflammation, hypostases and a hyperemia.

At topical administration causes easing or disappearance of pains in an ointment site of application, including joint pains at rest and at the movement, reduces morning constraint and a swelling of joints. Promotes increase in volume of movements.

Indications to use:

Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of joints; rheumatism of soft tissues; traumatic bruises, sprains, muscles and sinews; the inflammatory hypostases of soft tissues, morbidity of muscles and joints caused by heavy exercise stresses.

Route of administration and doses:

OUTWARDLY! Ointment of 2-4 g is applied a thin layer on skin over the center of an inflammation and slightly rubbed 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose of ointment should not exceed 8 g. Duration of a course of treatment should not exceed 10 days without consultation of the doctor.

Features of use:

It is necessary to avoid ointment hit Diclofenac Acre on the damaged surface of skin, open wounds, eyes and other mucous membranes.

Before ointment use Diclofenac Acre it is necessary to consult with the doctor if at you:
- a peptic ulcer of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut in the anamnesis;
- abnormal liver function and kidneys;
- the expressed disturbances of system of a hemopoiesis;
- bronchial asthma, rhinitis, polyps mucous nose;
- allergic reactions in the anamnesis.

It is not necessary to use ointment Diclofenac Acre at children up to 12 years without consultation of the doctor

Side effects:

The arising side effects depend on individual sensitivity, size of the applied dose and duration of treatment. Allergic reactions from skin (skin rash, burning, reddening) are possible.

At prolonged use of ointment and/or use of large numbers there can be system side effects:

- from digestive tract (pain in epigastric area, nausea, a meteorism, appetite loss);

- from the central nervous system (a headache, dizziness, drowsiness);

- from respiratory system (a bronchospasm, system anaphylactic reactions, including shock).

At emergence of any side effects it is necessary to stop use of ointment and to see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is necessary to consult with the doctor before ointment use if you are under observation of the doctor or you apply other NPVS.

Contraindications:

The known hypersensitivity to diclofenac, Dimexidum and components of drug; the bronchial asthma, a small tortoiseshell or rhinitis provoked by use of acetylsalicylic acid (salicylates) or other NPVS; a peptic ulcer of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut in an aggravation phase; pregnancy and period of breastfeeding; at children's age up to 6 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms: the clinical picture is defined by disturbances from the central nervous system (a headache, dizziness, a hyperexcitability, the hyperventilation phenomena with the increased convulsive readiness, children have myoclonic spasms) and gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal pains, nausea, vomiting). There can be bleedings from digestive tract and/or abnormal liver functions and/or kidneys.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature from 12 to 15 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Not to use drug expired. A period of validity - 3 years.
