General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: dioxidin;
1 ml of solution contains a dioxidin 10 mg in terms of 100% substance;
excipients: water for injections.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. A dioxidin – antibacterial drug of a broad spectrum of activity. Effective at the infections caused by vulgar Proteus, a pyocyanic stick, Friedlander's stick, intestinal and dysenteric sticks, salmonellas, stafilokokka, streptococci, pathogenic anaerobe bacterias, including causative agents of gas gangrene. Active concerning strains of bacteria, resistant to antibiotics, streptocides, nitrofurans and other drugs.
Pharmacokinetics. At topical administration the dioxidin is partially soaked up, has no local irritative effect. Is not exposed to metabolism. It does not kumulirutsya. It is removed by kidneys.
Pharmaceutical characteristics.
Main physical and chemical properties: transparent chartreuse liquid.
Indications to use:
Pyoinflammatory processes of various localization: purulent pleurisy, a pleura empyema, abscess of lungs, peritonitis, cystitis, wounds with deep cavities, abscesses of soft tissues, phlegmons, postoperative wounds to urine - and biliary tract. Also it is applied to prevention of infectious complications after bladder catheterization.
Route of administration and doses:
The dioxidin is appointed only the adult.
Before a course of treatment it is necessary to carry out test on portability of drug for what to enter 10 ml of 1% of solution into a purulent cavity. At absence within 3-6 hours of by-effects (dizziness, a fever, fervescence) begin course treatment. Solution enter into a cavity through a drainage tube, a catheter or the syringe – usually 10-50 ml of 1% of solution. The maximum daily dose makes 70 ml of 1% of solution. To apply 1 or 2 times a day (without exceeding a daily dose of 70 ml of 1% of solution). Duration of treatment depends on disease severity and portability of drug. The course of treatment can last 3 weeks and more. If necessary to repeat a course of treatment in 1-1,5 months.
Apply also locally, imposing on a surface of a wound of a bandage, the moistened 1% solution.
Features of use:
The dioxidin is applied only under careful observation of the doctor. Uncontrolled use of the Dioxidin and dosage forms which contain it is not allowed.
At emergence of side reactions it is necessary to reduce a dose, to appoint antihistaminic drugs, and if necessary – to stop use of the Dioxidin.
Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms.
There are no data on a negative impact of drug on ability to manage motor transport or to work with other mechanisms.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions, including an enanthesis, an itch; headache, fever, dermahemia, dyspepsia, changes in the place of use.
Interaction with other medicines:
It is not described.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug, existence in the anamnesis of insufficiency of bark of adrenal glands.
Overdose:
At overdose strengthening of side effects is possible. Symptomatic treatment.
Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.
Drug is contraindicated for use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.
Children.
Drug is not used for treatment of children.
