Adzhikold Hotmiks

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 750 mg of paracetamol, 10 mg of Phenylephrinum of a hydrochloride, 60 mg of ascorbic acid.

Excipients: anhydrous citric acid, saccharin-sodium, sodium citrate, sugar (powder), fragrance orange, dye yellow "sunset".

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Adzhikold хотмикс - the combined drug. Paracetamol blocks cyclooxygenase which leads to suspension of synthesis of prostaglandins, shows febrifugal and analgetic action.

Phenylephrinum a hydrochloride – a stimulator preferential alpha 1 - adrenoceptors. Shows vasoconstrictive effect, generally concerning vessels of upper respiratory tracts, reduces raised a slizoobrazovaniye and thus promotes elimination of a congestion of a nose.

Ascorbic acid takes active participation in organism redoxreactions. Route of administration and doses:

At the first symptoms of flu or cold drug is used inside on 1 bag to 4 times a day with an interval of 4-6 hours. Before use contents of 1 bag are dissolved in a glass of hot water. Duration of use makes no more than 5 days.

Features of use:

Drug is not used along with monoamine oxidase inhibitors and with drugs that contain paracetamol. Because Adzhikold Hotmiks includes sugar in the number of 2895,92 mg in 1 bag, a sick diabetes mellitus it is necessary to use drug with care.

Drug with care should be used at arterial hypertension, to persons with heart diseases, at atherosclerosis of cerebral vessels, diseases of kidneys and a liver.

During therapy work with vehicles and mechanisms is not recommended.

During treatment it is necessary to exclude alcohol intake.

Side effects:

In isolated cases allergic reactions (an enanthesis, a small tortoiseshell, a Quincke's disease), nausea, pain in epigastric area are possible; sleep disorder; dizziness, nervous excited, tachycardia; dryness in a mouth, a headache.

At prolonged use the hepatotoxic action can be observed.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, and also alcohol intake increase in an elimination half-life of paracetamol is possible. Long reception of antiunconscious drugs can reduce activity of paracetamol. Simultaneous use of high doses of paracetamol with an isoniazid increases risk of development of a hepatotoxic syndrome. At simultaneous use of Phenylephrinum of a hydrochloride with atropine tachycardia can be observed.

Drug strengthens effect of indirect anticoagulants (coumarin derivatives). Metaklopramid raises, and холестирамин absorption reduces speed. Barbiturates reduce febrifugal effect of drug.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, heavy abnormal liver functions and/or kidneys, pregnancy and the period of feeding by a breast, alcoholism, heavy arterial hypertension, is unstable stenocardia, the acute period of a myocardial infarction, a hyperthyroidism, dekompensirovanny heart failure, disturbance of cordial conductivity, acute pancreatitis, a prostatauxe.

Drug is not appointed to children up to 12 years.

Overdose:

Overdose it is, as a rule, caused by paracetamol and it is found pallor of skin, анорексиею, nausea, vomiting, gepatonekrozy, increase in activity of "hepatic" transaminases, increase in a prothrombin ratio. Treatment: a gastric lavage, with further use of absorbent carbon; symptomatic therapy.
