General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: адапален - 0,1 g. Excipients: propylene glycol – 5,0 g, carbomer (карбопол) – 1,1 g, methylparahydroxybenzoate (methylparaben) – 0,10 g, dinatrium эдетат (ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid disodium salt [Trilonum of B]) – 0,1 g, half-oxameasures of 188 - 0,2, phenoxyethanol – 0,25 g, sodium hydroxide (sodium a hydroxide) – 0,2 g, the water purified – to 100 g.

Pharmacological properties:

Adapalen – a retinoid metabolite, has komedonolitichesky and antiinflammatory activity, normalizes processes of keratinization and epidermal differentiation. The mechanism of action of an adapalen is based on interaction with specific receptors of epidermal cells of skin. Action of an adapalen is resulted, in particular, by decrease in "stseplennost" of epithelial cells to the mouth of a grease and hair follicle and reduction of premises for formation of microcomedones. Adapalen has antiinflammatory effect of in vivo and in vitro, influencing inflammation factors by inhibition of migration of leukocytes in the center of an inflammation and metabolism of arachidonic acid.

Acne rash.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly, apply once a day before going to bed on clean dry skin with, evenly, light touch, avoiding hit in eyes and on lips. The clinical result comes in 4-8 weeks of treatment, permanent improvement - after 3 months of treatment.

Features of use:

At irritation of skin to stop gel use (temporarily or absolutely). To avoid stay in the sun; in case of long stay not to apply gel on the sun a day before it, and also in day of solar exposure and the next day. Simultaneous use of cosmetics with the drying and irritating effect on skin is not recommended (for example, alkogolsoderzhashchy means).

Side effects:

Hyperemia and peeling of skin in the place of application.

Interaction with other medicines:

Co-administration with clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide is possible. To be careful at combined use with the drugs having the irritating or drying effect including with the drugs containing sulfur, Resorcinolum or salicylic acid (strengthening of side effect is possible).

Storage conditions:
