Ouro-vaksom

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 6 mg of the lyophilized bacterial lysate of 18 strains of Esherichia coli.
Excipients: propyl gallate, sodium глютамат, Mannitolum, starch prezhelatinizirovanny, magnesium stearate, dyes (Е 171, E 172), gelatin.
Description
Solid gelatin capsules of No. in size 3, lid of orange color opaque, case of yellow color opaque. Capsule contents - light-beige powder.

Pharmacological properties:

Immunobiological effect
Immunopharmacological researches showed what Ouro-Vaksy possesses the following action:
- stimulates T lymphocytes;
- induces formation of endogenous interferon;
- increases the maintenance of IgA, including, in urine.
Clinical trials showed what Ouro-Vaksy reduces the frequency of a recurrence of infections of an uric path, in particular cystitis.

Indications to use:

The combined treatment and prevention of a recurrence of persistent infection of an uric path, in particular cystitis, irrespective of the microorganism nature, in combination with antibiotics or antiseptic agents from 4-year age.

Route of administration and doses:

Treatment: on 1 capsule daily in the morning on an empty stomach as additional medicine when performing usual antimicrobic therapy before disappearance of symptoms, but not less than 10 days. The maximum term of treatment is 3 months.
Prevention of a recurrence of persistent infection of an uric path: on 1 capsule daily in the morning on an empty stomach within 3 months.
If it is difficult for child to swallow the capsule, it it is necessary to open and mix contents with drink (fruit juice, milk, etc.).
The doctor, proceeding from the state of health of the patient has to determine duration of treatment or purpose of a repeated course of therapy.

Side effects:

At individuals can be observed insignificant gastrointestinal (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting), skin frustration (an itch, a dieback, an erythema) and limited allergic skin reactions. Seldom: small fever. In case of heavier complications treatment it is necessary to stop and consult with the attending physician.

Interaction with other medicines:

Interactions with other medicines it is not established so far. As a precautionary measure it is not necessary to use drug in two weeks prior to and within two weeks after intake of live vaccines. Immunodepressive drugs can exert impact on effect of drug.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.
 
Pregnancy / Feeding by a breast
Studying of a reproduction at animals did not reveal any danger to a fruit, but controlled researches on pregnant women were not conducted. Concerning feeding by a breast special researches were not conducted and data on the matter are not available so far.

Overdose:

Data on cases of overdose are absent. Ouro-Vaksom's nature and results of studying of its toxicity on animals indicate that the overdose is improbable.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature from 15 to 25 °C in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity: 5 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging.
