General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1,14 g of clindamycin of a hydrochloride (there corresponds 1 g of clindamycin).

Excipients: ethanol (alcohol of ethyl 96%), propylene glycol, the water purified.

It is mirror – new drug for topical treatment of acne rash.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Clindamycin - an antibiotic of group of linkozamid, is active concerning all strains of Propionibacteriumacnes, the minimum overwhelming concentration (MOC) - 0,4 mkg/ml. Inhibits protein synthesis in a microbic cell due to interaction with 50S-subunits of ribosomes. After drawing the amount of free fatty acids on the surface of skin decreases by skin approximately from 14 to 2%.

Pharmacokinetics. Clindamycin quickly collects in comedones where shows antibacterial activity. Average concentration of an antibiotic in contents of comedones after putting solution considerably exceeds an indicator of the minimum suppressing concentration for all strains of Propionibacteriumacnes-of the causative agent of acne rash. After drawing very low concentration of clindamycin are defined on hydrochloride clindamycin solution skin in a blood plasma and urine.

Indications to use:

Drug is used for treatment of acne rash (acnevulgaris).

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. Solution is applied on the struck area of previously cleared and dried up skin by 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening.

Course of treatment: for obtaining satisfactory results treatment should be continued within 6-8 weeks, and if necessary it is possible to continue up to 6 months.

Features of use:

Age up to 12 years, the lactation period. With care it is necessary to apply at patients with an allergy, and also at a concomitant use of muscle relaxants.

At use of drug it is necessary to avoid contact of drug with eyes and an oral cavity, and after use it is necessary to wash up hands.

Use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation. Perhaps cutaneous use of solution at pregnancy if the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit. In need of use in the period of a lactation the breastfeeding termination is recommended.

Influence on ability to drive the car and to manage other mechanisms. 1% Zerkalin's solution does not influence ability to drive the car and to manage other mechanisms.

Side effects:

Drug is usually well transferred, however at topical administration of solution the irritation (in a site of application), burning, an itch, a xeroderma, an erythema, a peeling, the increased release of skin fat, contact dermatitis is possible. At the probability of development of a pseudomembranous coloenteritis rezorbtsiiimetsya.

Interaction with other medicines:

Simultaneous use of clindamycin of a hydrochloride with other drugs for treatment of acne rash containing the peeling, softening and abrasive substances (for example, benzoyl peroxide, третиноин, Resorcinolum, salicylic acid, sulfur) because of possible cumulative irritant action on skin is not recommended.

Clindamycin and erythromycin are antagonists owing to what simultaneous use of these antibiotics is not recommended. There is a cross resistance between clindamycin and lincomycin. Can strengthen action of muscle relaxants, breaking neuromuscular transmission.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin, and also other components of drug in the anamnesis; a disease Krone, ulcer and pseudomembranous colitis (including in the anamnesis).

Storage conditions:

To store in dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. Period of validity 2 years. Not to use after a period of validity.
