Producer: Pfizer (Pfayzer) of the USA
Code of automatic telephone exchange: G01AA10
Release form: Soft dosage forms. Gel for external use.
General characteristics. Structure:
Active agent of clindamycin (in the form of phosphate clindamycin) 10 mg;
Excipients: cordianine, methylparaben, propylene glycol, polyethyleneglycol, carbomer 934P, sodium hydroxide, the water purified.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. Clindamycin phosphate is inactive in vitro, but after drawing on skin is quickly hydrolyzed by phosphatases in channels of sebaceous glands with formation of the clindamycin having antibacterial activity. Sensitivity of all studied Propionibacterium acnes strains to in vitro clindamycin (MPK of 0,4 mkg/ml) is shown that explains efficiency of drug at treatment of vulgar eels.
After putting clindamycin on skin the amount of free fatty acids on the surfaces of skin decreases approximately from 14% to 2%.
Pharmacokinetics. After external use of 1% gel of clindamycin of phosphate in blood serum and in urine very low concentration of clindamycin are defined.
Activity of clindamycin in comedones at patients with vulgar eels is shown. Average concentration of an antibiotic in contents a comedone after putting solution of clindamycin in isopropyl alcohol and water (10 mg/ml) within 4 weeks averaged 597 MSC/g of contents a comedone (0 1490 MSC/g).
Indications to use:
Vulgar eels.
Route of administration and doses:
Outwardly. A thin film of gel is applied on the struck area of clean dry skin by 2 times a day.
Course of treatment: for obtaining satisfactory results treatment should be continued within 6-8 weeks, and if necessary it is possible to continue up to 6 months.
Features of use:
It is necessary to avoid hit of drug on a mucous membrane of eyes and in an oral cavity. After putting gel carefully to wash up hands. At accidental contact with sensitive surfaces (eyes, grazes on skin, mucous membranes) it is necessary to wash out plentifully this area cool water.
Clindamycin use (as well as other antibiotics) inside or parenterally in some cases is connected with development of heavy diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis. At external use of clindamycin cases of developing of diarrhea and colitis are rare, nevertheless it is necessary to show care, and at development of the expressed or long diarrhea drug should be cancelled and if necessary to hold the relevant diagnostic and medical activities. In case of heavy diarrhea it is necessary to resolve an issue of expediency of carrying out a kolonoskopiya.
Influence on ability to driving of the car and to control of mechanisms
There are no bases to believe that use of the drug DALAQING can exert impact on ability to driving of the car and to control of mechanisms.
Side effects:
Most often – a xeroderma.
More rare: an abdominal pain, irritation of skin, gastrointestinal frustration (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting), contact dermatitis, burning sensation in eyes, the folliculitis caused by gram-negative flora, increase in products of sebaceous glands.
In extremely exceptional cases development of colitis is possible.
Clindamycin phosphate at topical administration can be soaked up in the quantities causing system effects.
Interaction with other medicines:
There is a cross clindamycin and lincomycin resistance of microorganisms.
Antagonism between clindamycin and erythromycin was noted.
It is established that clindamycin breaks neuromuscular transfer and, therefore, can strengthen action of other muscle relaxants of peripheral action therefore it is necessary to use drug with care at the patients receiving drugs of this group.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin in the anamnesis.
With CARE: age up to 12 years (data on safety and efficiency are absent).
USE AT PREGNANCY OR FEEDING BY THE BREAST
In researches on animals at administration of clindamycin in doses of 100-600 mg/kg/day subcutaneously or in deterioration in fertility, and also any teratogenic effects it is not revealed. Adequate controlled researches at pregnant women were not conducted. As results of researches on animals can not always be extrapolated to the person, it is necessary to appoint drug at pregnancy only if the expected advantage for mother surpasses potential risk for a fruit.
It is unknown whether clindamycin in breast milk after external use is emitted. Clindamycin is found in breast milk after peroral or parenteral administration therefore it is necessary to show care at purpose of drug during breastfeeding.
