Ацизол®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: Ацизол® (in terms of dry matter) – 120 mg;
Excipients: Lactose (sugar milk), talc, silicon dioxide colloid (aerosil), calcium stearate.
Structure of capsules: Gelatin, azoruby, diamond black, patent blue, quinoline yellow, titanium dioxide.
Description: Solid gelatin capsules No. 1, with the opaque case of white color, an opaque lid of green color. On the case and a lid of the capsule "Atsizol®\" is specified.
Contents of capsules – powder of color, white or white with slightly yellowish shade, with a specific smell.
Powder is hygroscopic, balling up is allowed.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Ацизол® interferes with formation of carboxyhaemoglobin due to influence on cooperative interaction of subunits of hemoglobin therefore relative affinity of hemoglobin to carbon oxide decreases, also gas transmission properties of blood improve kislorodsvyazyvayushchy (decrease in a constant of Hill). 

Ацизол® reduces expressiveness of intoxication at poisoning with carbon oxide on indicators of weight of a metabolic acidosis, accelerates elimination of carbon oxide (SO) from an organism.

Drug reduces the need of an organism for oxygen, promotes increase in resistance to a hypoxia of bodies, the most sensitive to a lack of oxygen: brain, myocardium, liver, etc.

Ацизол® is complex tsinkorganichesky connection and fills shortage of zinc in an organism.

Pharmacokinetics. Drug is quickly enough absorbed from a GIT. The maximum concentration in a blood plasma at reception of 120 mg of drug is reached in 1-1,5 hours. The elimination half-life makes 1-1,5 hours, in 8-10 hours trace amounts of drug are registered. It is generally metabolized by a liver.

Indications to use:

Ацизол® apply as an antidote at threat of poisoning or at poisoning with carbon oxide (SO) and other products of thermooxidizing destruction of varying severity.

With the preventive purpose drug is used inside on 1 capsule (120 mg) in 30-40 minutes prior to entry into a zone of smoke (gas contamination), at high risk of inhalation WITH, during work on mitigation of consequences of the accidents and accidents which are followed by the fires or suppression of the fires and rescue of victims. Protective action remains within 2-2,5 hours. Repeated use of drug is allowed in 1,5-2 hours after the first use.

In view of specificity of effect of drug, its safety and lack of negative impact on physical and intellectual effeciency, repeated use of drug to the persons occupied at suppression of forest, peat and other fires, and also at long forced stay in a zone of smoke (gas contamination), but is allowed no more than 7 days.

At poisoning with carbon oxide use of drug in the earliest terms on 1 capsule along with other means of medicamentous therapy is recommended.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside on one capsule (120 mg) in 30 - 40 minutes prior to entry into a zadymlyonny zone. Repeated reception of an atsizol is allowed in 1,5 - 2 hours.

Repeated use of drug at long influence WITH and other products of burning is allowed or at poisoning with them on 1 capsule (120 mg) 4 times in the first days, in the subsequent on 1 capsule 2 times a day within 7 days.

The maximum daily dose for the adult of 480 mg (4 capsules).

Side effects:

At administration of drug the feeling of nausea on an empty stomach can appear.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not recommended to apply together with Unithiolum. At appointment with other medicines of negative effects it is noted.

Contraindications:

Contraindications are not revealed.

Overdose:

Symptoms: metal smack in a mouth, a headache, nausea.

Treatment: These phenomena pass after drug withdrawal.

Capsules on 120 mg. On 1, 3 or 10 capsules in a blister strip packaging from a film of polyvinyl chloride and aluminum foil. On 30 or 50 pieces in bank of polymeric. On 1 blister strip packaging po1 or 3 capsules, on 1, 2 or 3 blister strip packagings on 10 capsules or to bank polymeric together with the application instruction place in a pack from a cardboard.
For hospitals and formation of first-aid kits of a special purpose

On 50 or 100 blister strip packagings on 1, 3 or 10 capsules together with application instructions place in a box from a cardboard. Number of copies of instructions has to correspond to quantity of blister strip packagings.
