Ацизол®

General characteristics. Structure:

Acting substance: 60,0 g of an atsizol (in terms of dry matter), 5 ml of acetic acid, waters injection to 1 l.
Description: Colourless transparent liquid

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics: Ацизол® interferes with formation of carboxyhaemoglobin due to influence on cooperative interaction of subunits of hemoglobin therefore relative affinity of hemoglobin to carbon oxide decreases, also gas transmission properties of blood improve kislorodsvyazyvayushchy (decrease in a constant of Hill).

Ацизол® reduces expressiveness of intoxication at poisoning with carbon oxide on indicators of weight of a metabolic acidosis, accelerates elimination of carbon oxide (SO) from an organism.

Drug reduces the need of an organism for oxygen, promotes increase in resistance to a hypoxia of bodies, the most sensitive to a lack of oxygen: brain, myocardium, liver, etc.

Ацизол® is complex tsinkorganichesky connection and fills shortage of zinc in an organism.

Pharmacokinetics: The maximum concentration of an atsizol in blood is reached in 20 - 30 minutes after intramuscular introduction of 1 ml (60 mg) of drug and remains in a blood plasma within 4 - 5 hours. The elimination half-life makes 1-1,5 hours. It is generally metabolized by a liver.

Indications to use:

Ацизол® apply as prophylactic at threat of poisoning and remedy at poisoning of varying severity with carbon oxide (SO) and other products of thermooxidizing destruction.

With the preventive purpose the drug is administered in a dose of 1 ml intramusculary in 20-30 minutes prior to entry into a zone of smoke (gas contamination), at high risk of inhalation WITH, during work on elimination of suppressions of the fires and rescue of victims. Protective action remains within 1,5 – 2 hours. Repeated use of drug is allowed in 1 hour after the first introduction.

With the medical purpose of Atsizol® it is recommended to apply as it is possible in early terms after poisoning regardless of weight of defeat. The drug is administered in a dose of 1 ml intramusculary right after extraction of the fire (the gas-polluted room) which was injured from a zone. Repeated introduction is allowed in 1 hour after the first introduction.

Route of administration and doses:

With the preventive purpose of 1 ml of Atsizola® solution it is entered intramusculary at threat of poisoning in 20 – 30 min. prior to alleged influence of CO and products of thermodestruction. Repeated introduction is allowed in 1 hour after the first administration of drug.

As Atsizol® remedy it is recommended to apply as far as possible in early terms after poisoning regardless of weight of defeat. The drug is administered in a dose of 1 ml intramusculary right after extraction of the fire (the gas-polluted room) which was injured from a zone. In subsequent Atsizol® about 1 ml 2-4 times a day is entered intramusculary.

The maximum daily dose for the adult - 240 mg (4 ml).

The course of treatment averages 7-10 days.

Side effects:

Side effect is not revealed. Moderate morbidity in a drug injection site is in some cases possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not recommended to apply together with Unithiolum. At appointment with other medicines of negative effects it is noted.

Contraindications:

Contraindications are not revealed

Overdose:

Symptoms: Metal smack in a mouth, a headache, nausea. Treatment: These phenomena pass after drug withdrawal.

Packaging:

Solution for intramuscular introduction of 60 mg/ml.

On 1 ml of solution in an ampoule on 1 or 5 ampoules in a blister strip packaging from a film polyvinyl chloride. On 1 or 2 blister strip packagings on 5 ampoules together with the application instruction and a knife for opening of ampoules place in a pack from a cardboard. When using ampoules with a point or a ring of a fiasco the knife is not put.
For hospitals:

On 50 or 100 blister strip packagings on 5 ampoules together with the application instruction and a knife for opening of ampoules place in a box from a cardboard. When using ampoules with a point or a ring of a fiasco the knife is not put. Number of copies of instructions has to correspond to quantity of blister strip packagings.
