Pharmacological properties:
Has antiseptic property.
Indications to use:
Acid solution of boric is applied in otolaryngology at acute and chronic otitises.
Route of administration and doses:
Solution is dug in in an ear on 3-5 drops by 2-3 times a day or enter the turundas moistened with solution into the acoustical canal at acute and chronic otitises.
Side effects:
When using boric acid, especially at overdose and prolonged use and at renal failures, emergence of acute and chronic toxic reactions is possible: nausea, vomitings, diarrheas, skin rash.
Contraindications:
Use of boric acid is contraindicated to patients with a renal failure, to children (including the newborn), to pregnant women and persons with individual intolerance.
Storage conditions:
Period of validity 3 years. To use not later than the date specified on packaging.
