General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: 1 capsule contains - calcium citrate 181,5 mg equivalent to 43,76 mg of Sa, calcium hydrophosphate 140,0 mg equivalent to 32,61 mg of Sa and 25,2 mg of phosphorus, Retinolum acetate (vitamin A) 250 ME, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) of 10,0 mg, a pyridoxine a hydrochloride (vitaminv6) of 0,25 mg, cholecalciferol (D3 vitamin) 50 ME; excipients: calcium stearate, starch.

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug intended for completion of deficit of calcium, phosphorus and vitamins B an organism. Calcium participates in formation of a bone tissue, a mineralization of teeth, in regulation of nerve conduction and muscular contractions, in cordial activity. One capsule corresponds to 10-15% of daily need for calcium at children and adults. Cholecalciferol (D3 vitamin) regulates exchange of calcium and phosphorus in an organism, strengthens absorption of calcium in intestines and a phosphorus reabsorption in kidneys. Vitamins A, C and B6 take part in formation of a bone tissue and stimulate exchange processes in the growing old organism.

Indications to use:

It is applied as treatment-and-prophylactic means at the conditions of deficit of calcium and vitamin D in an organism connected with defective food, rickets at advanced age, at the raised exercise stresses, at children during intensive growth; for prevention of osteoporosis (including post-menopausal) and as addition to specific therapy of osteoporosis; at osteomalacy; at changes, especially in case of a long immobilization.

Route of administration and doses:

Appoint the adult two capsules 3-4 times a day. Children are 5-11 years old - on two capsules 2 times a day, to children 12 years - on two capsules 2-3 times a day are more senior. Capsules should be swallowed, washing down with a small amount of water. Duration of reception depends on the nature of a disease. The course of treatment makes 4 weeks, then, in the presence of indications, after a 1 weeks break, treatment can be continued in the same mode, with breaks in 1 week after every 4 weeks of treatment. The maximum daily dose – 12 capsules.

Features of use:

At persons with the soft and moderate renal failure (which is usually found in elderly people) or an insignificant hypercalcuria periodic control of release of calcium with urine and behind calcium level in plasma is necessary. Besides, it is necessary to carry out control of release of calcium with urine at the patients having in the anamnesis stones in kidneys for the purpose of a hypercalcuria exception. To use with care at the patients accepting digitalis drugs.

Side effects:

Hypercalcemia, renal failure at prolonged use of drug in high doses. Allergic reactions are possible.

Contraindications:

Hypercalcemia as result of a hyperparathyreosis (primary or secondary), vitamin D overdose, the decalcifying tumors, the expressed hypercalcuria, the expressed renal failure, an urolithiasis, hypersensitivity to drug components.
