General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient - iodine - 100 mg;
Excipients: Iodide potassium - 300 mg; Polyvinyl alcohol - 900 mg; The Water purified - to 100 ml.
Description. The liquid of dark blue color with a characteristic smell foaming at agitation. Foaming traces on the blank part of a bottle are allowed.
Pharmacological properties:
Yodosoderzhashchy antiseptic agent. The main active ingredient is the molecular iodine having antiseptic property. When drawing iodine has resorptive effect on the extensive surfaces of skin: actively influences a metabolism, strengthens dissimilation processes, participates in thyroxine synthesis, possesses proteolytic action. Polyvinyl alcohol - high-molecular connection which content in Iodinolum slows down release of iodine and extends its interaction with body tissues; reduces also irritant action of iodine by fabrics.
Iodine has bactericidal effect both on gram-positive, and on gram-negative flora (is the most active on streptococcal flora and colibacillus), and also on a pathogenic fungi and yeast. Steadier flora are staphylococcus, however at prolonged use of drug in 80% of cases suppression of staphylococcal flora is noted. The pyocyanic stick is steady. Drug is a little toxic.
Indications to use:
Adenoid disease; outside otitis; chronic periodontitis, purulent surgical diseases; trophic and varicose ulcers; thermal and corrosive burns.
Route of administration and doses:
Locally, outwardly (washing, imposing of gauze napkins, greasing of almonds).

At an adenoid disease wash out lacunas of almonds and supratonsillar spaces. Make 4-5 washings with intervals 2-3 days. A single dose - 50 ml. Not to swallow!

At outside otitises: daily instillation of 5-8 drops.

At trophic and varicose ulcers impose the gauze napkins (in 3 layers) moistened with drug on an ulcer surface (previously wash out skin warm water with soap, and skin around an ulcer is greased with zinc oxide ointment). Bandaging is made by 1-2 times a day, at the same time the gauze lying on an ulcer surface do not remove, and again impregnate with solution. In 4-7 days appoint the general or local bathtub, then again continue the specified treatment.

At purulent wounds and the infected burns apply the friable gauze bandage impregnated with drug.

At fresh thermal and corrosive burns of the I-II degree also apply the gauze bandage impregnated with solution, irrigate an inside layer of a bandage with drug as required.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions (skin itch). At prolonged use - the phenomena of "iodism" in the form of skin rashes or rhinitis.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, thyrotoxicosis, herpetiform dermatitis, pregnancy, lactation period, perforation of a tympanic membrane. With care children's age to 18 years.
Overdose:
Symptoms: the iodism phenomena (rhinitis, urticaria, a Quincke's edema, the increased salivation).
Treatment: it is necessary to cause vomiting, to carry out a gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.
At overdose emergence, and also other symptoms undescribed in the instruction it is necessary to see a doctor urgently.
Interaction with medicines
Pharmaceutical it is incompatible with essential oils, ammonia solutions.
Alkaline or acid medium, presence of fat, pus, blood, weaken antiseptic activity.
Storage conditions:
