Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Antigipoksant. АКТОВЕГИНТ® is hemoderivative which is received by means of dialysis and ultrafiltration (there take place connections with molecular weight less than 5000 дальтон). Positively influences transport and utilization of glucose, stimulates oxygen consumption, (that leads to stabilization of plasma membranes of cells at ischemia and to decrease in formation of lactates) possessing, thus, anti-hypoxemic action which begins to be shown the latest in 30 min. after peroral introduction and reaches a maximum on average in 3 h (2-6 h).

АКТОВЕГИНТ® increases concentration of adenosinetriphosphate, adenosinediphosphate, phosphocreatinine, and also amino acids – a glutamate, aspartate and gamma аминомаслянной acids.

Pharmacokinetics. By means of pharmacokinetic methods it is impossible to study pharmacokinetic indicators of the drug AKTOVEGIN® as it consists only of physiological components which usually are present at an organism.

So far decrease in pharmacological effect of hemoderivatives at patients with the changed pharmacokinetics is not revealed (for example, a liver or renal failure, the metabolism changes connected with old age and also features of metabolism at newborns).

Indications to use:

Complex therapy of metabolic and vascular disorders of a brain (various forms of insufficiency of cerebral circulation, dementia, craniocereberal injury);
Peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular disorders and their effects (angiopatiya, trophic ulcers).

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, on 1-2 tablet 3 times a day, without chewing, before food, washing down with a small amount of liquid. Duration of treatment has to make from 4 to 6 weeks.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and a lactation is allowed.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (for example, urticaria, hypostases, medicinal fever). In such cases treatment АКТОВЕГИНом® needs to be stopped. If necessary carry out standard therapy of allergic reactions (antihistamines and/or corticosteroids).

Interaction with other medicines:

Now it is not known.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug AKTOVEGINT or similar drugs.

With care. Heart failure of II and III degrees, fluid lungs, oliguria, anury, overhydratation, pregnancy, lactation period.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity - 3 years. Not to use after a period of validity. At a temperature not above 25 °C in the place protected from light. To store in the place unavailable to children!

Tablets coated 200 mg
On 50 tablets in bottles of dark glass (type III. Evr.farm) with the screw mouth and the screwing-up cover providing control of the first opening. 1 bottle with the application instruction is placed in a cardboard pack. On a pack paste transparent protective stickers of a round form with holographic texts and control of the first opening.

On 10,30 or 50 tablets in bottles of brown glass corked by caps aluminum with control of the first opening. 1 bottle with the application instruction is placed in a pack from a cardboard.
