Metiluratsilovy ointment

General characteristics. Structure:

Methyluracil as active agent of 10 g and an ointment basis (vaseline medical, lanolin water) to 100 g.

Pharmacological properties:

Has anabolic activity. Normalizing nucleinic exchange, accelerates processes of cellular regeneration in wounds, accelerating growth and granulyatsionny maturing of fabric and epithelization. At local drawing on a wound has phototyre-tread properties.

Indications to use:

Vyalozazhivayushchy wounds, burns (thermal, chemical, beam), photodermatitis. Methyluracil can be used with the preventive purpose for the prevention of reactions of skin at radiation of new growths with low radio sensitivity, reduction of a radioepithelitis and late unions of walls (occlusions) of a vagina – in case of radiation therapy of new growths of genitalias.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly: ointment is daily applied on the damaged sites on 5 – 10 g daily within 15 – 30 days. Ointment is used in friable tampons at beam dermatitis and late beam injuries of a vagina

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, headache, dizziness, short-term burning.

Interaction with other medicines:

Metiluratsilovy ointment is compatible to outside applications of streptocides, antibiotics and antiseptic agents.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug, excess granulations.
