General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 1 tablet contains - metamizole sodium of 500 mg;

excipients: potato starch, calcium stearate

Pharmacological properties:

Analginum is derivative pyrazyl ketone. Possesses soothing, febrifugal and antiinflammatory action. The main mechanism of action – biosynthesis oppression prostaglandin – modulators of painful sensitivity, thermal control and an inflammation in the central nervous system and peripheral fabrics.

Indications to use:

Pain syndrome of various origin: head, dentagra, neuralgia, radiculitis, miositis, flu, fever. As supportive application can be applied to reduction of pains after surgical and diagnostic interventions.

Route of administration and doses:

To adults and teenagers 15 years are more senior appoint usually 250-500 mg, 2-3 times a day. A single dose for children of 4-5 years – 1/4 tablets, 6-7 years – 1/3 tablets, 8-14 years – 1/2 tablets. Frequency rate of appointment – 2-3 times a day. A pill is taken after food, washing down with a small amount of water. Analginum reception duration – no more than 5 days.

Features of use:

With care and under control of the doctor appoint drug at pregnancy (especially in 1 trimester and in the last 6 weeks).

Side effects:

In therapeutic doses drug is usually well transferred. Allergic reactions (skin rash, a Quincke's edema) are sometimes possible. At long reception - cases of disturbance of system of blood (thrombocytopenia, a leukopenia, it is rare – an agranulocytosis). At tendency to a bronchospasm provoking of an attack is possible.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to pyrazyl ketone derivatives (Butadionum, Tribuzonum, antipyrine). The expressed abnormal liver functions or/and kidneys, a disease of system of blood.
