General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: ointment of color, white or white with a yellowish shade, with a specific smell.
Active ingredients: 1 g of ointment contains menthol of racemic 0.18 g, a kamfra of racemic 0.1 g, clove oil of 0.01 g.
Excipients: hard paraffin, vaseline.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The mechanism of effect of drug is caused by active ingredients which are a part of drug. Irritates nerve terminations, expands arterioles and capillaries that promotes development of the distracting and anesthetizing action. Reduces exudation and condenses cellular membranes. Renders the distracting, weak analgeziruyushchy, moderate antiinflammatory, antiseptic actions.

Pharmacokinetics. It was not studied.

Indications to use:

 Joint pain and in muscles, neuralgia, a miositis, arthritis, a mialgiya, an arthralgia, rheumatism, a sciatica.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly for grindings. Ointment is rubbed in skin to the necessary area of the affected joint or muscle on 2–3 g by 2–3 times a day. The course of treatment depends on weight and the course of a disease and on the nature of the accompanying therapy.

Features of use:

At rubbing in in skin causes cryesthesias, then warmth, weak burning and a pricking. With care to apply during pregnancy and feeding by a breast, considering a ratio risk/advantage.

It is necessary to avoid hit of ointment in eyes and on mucous membranes. It is not necessary to apply ointment on the injured skin.

After each use of ointment carefully to wash hands. At strong irritation of skin of rubbing in it is necessary to stop.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, small tortoiseshell and irritation of skin in drug sites of application are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

 It is not known.

Contraindications:

Diseases of skin, wound in places of alleged putting drug.
Hypersensitivity to drug components. The children's age is younger than 3 years.

Overdose:

Hypersensitivity manifestations are possible. At the same time it is necessary to cancel drug. Symptomatic treatment.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature of 8-15 °C in protected from light and the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity — 3 years.
