General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: tamsulozina hydrochloride; 
1 capsule contains a tamsulozin a hydra of chloride of 0,4 mg; 
Excipients: cellulose microcrystallic, коликоат MAY 30 DP, gipromeloz (gidroksipropilmetiltsellyuloz), propylene glycol, talc, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate. 

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Selectively and competitively blocks postsynaptic a 1A - the adrenoceptors which are in smooth muscles of a prostate, a neck of a bladder and a prostatic part of an urethra. Reduces a tone of smooth muscles of a prostate, neck of a bladder and  a prostatic part of an urethra, improving release of urine. At the same time the symptoms of obstruction and irritation connected with a high-quality prostatauxe decrease. The therapeutic effect develops in 2 weeks after an initiation of treatment. Tropism to a 1A - the adrenoceptors located in a bladder by 20 times exceeds its ability to interact with a 1B - the adrenoceptors which are in unstriated muscles of vessels. Behind high selectivity does not cause clinically significant decrease in system arterial pressure both in patients with hypertensia, and in patients with normal arterial pressure.

Pharmacokinetics. After intake  it is quickly and almost completely soaked up in digestive tract. Bioavailability makes about 100%. After a single dose in 400 mkg the maximum concentration of active agent in plasma is reached in the 6th hour.

In a condition of equilibrium concentration (in 5 days of course use) values of the maximum concentration of active agent in a blood plasma are 60-70% higher, than after a single dose of drug. Indications to use:

Symptomatic treatment of a benign hyperplasia of a prostate.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, without chewing, after a breakfast, washing down with enough water, on 1 capsule (0,4 mg). The term of treatment is determined by the doctor.

Features of use:

With care apply at predisposition to orthostatic hypotension, the expressed abnormal liver functions and KK (Cl) it is lower than 10 ml/min. At emergence of symptoms of orthostatic hypotension (dizziness, weakness) of the patient it is recommended  to seat or lay.

Side effects:

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use with Cimetidinum perhaps some increase in concentration of a tamsulozin in a blood plasma, and with furosemide - decrease in concentration, however it does not demand changes of a dosage of drug. Diclofenac and indirect anticoagulants (warfarin) can increase the speed of elimination of a tamsulozin several. Co-administration with other a 1A - adrenoceptors can lead to the expressed strengthening of hypotensive effect.

Contraindications:

The increased individual sensitivity, orthostatic hypotension in the anamnesis, a heavy liver and/or renal failure. Children's age.

Overdose:

Symptoms: Developing of acute hypotension is possible.
Treatment: to give to the patient horizontal position with the raised legs. If symptoms do not disappear, it is necessary to administer obyemozamishchuyuch solutions or the vasoconstrictive drugs. For prevention of further absorption of drug the gastric lavage, reception activated is possible
