General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 0,192-0,21 g of Pancreatinum that corresponds to 4500 PIECES of FIP of amylase, 6000 PIECES of FIP of a lipase, 300 PIECES of FIP of protease, 0,05 g of hemicellulose, 0,025 g of extract bull bile.

Excipients: sodium chloride, atsetilftaliltsel-lyuloz, titanium dioxide, castor oil, sucrose (sugar), methylparaben (нипагин), propylparaben (нипазол), gelatin, гуммиарабикум, calcium carbonate, liquid glucose, ethylvanillin, talc.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug compensates insufficiency of secretory function of a pancreas and zhelchevydelitelny function of a liver.

The enzymes which are a part of Pancreatinum amylase, a lipase and protease facilitate digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins that promotes their fuller absorption in a small intestine.

Enzyme of a gemitsellyula promotes splitting of a cellulose that also improves digestive processes, reduces formation of gases in intestines.

Extract of bile works zhelchegonno, facilitates digestion of fats, promotes allocation of a lipase a pancreas.

Indications to use:

Insufficiency of vneshnesekretorny function of a pancreas (at chronic pancreatitis, a mucoviscidosis and so forth).

Chronic inflammatory and dystrophic diseases of a stomach, intestines, liver, gall bladder; the states after a resection or radiation of these bodies which are followed by disturbances of digestion of food, a meteorism, diarrhea (as a part of a combination therapy).

For improvement of digestion of food at patients with normal function of digestive tract in case of errors in food, and also at disturbances of chewing function, a forced long immobilization, a slow-moving way of life.

Preparation for radiological and ultrasonic researches of abdominal organs.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is accepted inside, without chewing, in time or right after food, washing down with a small amount of liquid.

Adults - on 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. Higher doses are appointed by the doctor.

Children - on doctor's orders.

Duration of treatment can be varied of several days (at disturbance of process of digestion owing to an error in a diet) up to several months or years (in need of continuous replacement therapy).

Before radiological or ultrasonography - on 2 tablets 2-3 times a day in 2-3 days prior to a research.

Features of use:

Pregnancy and lactation. At pregnancy and feeding a breast drug is appointed only in urgent cases.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pains, decrease in endogenous synthesis of bile acids. At prolonged use in high doses development of a hyper uricosuria, increase in level of uric acid in a blood plasma is possible.

At children at use high to perhaps development of perianal irritation and irritation of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use with Ferestalom® absorption of PASK, streptocides, antibiotics amplifies; decrease in absorption of iron preparations is possible.

Simultaneous use of the antiacid means containing calcium a carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide can lead to decrease in efficiency of Ferestala®.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, acute pancreatitis, an exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis, a liver failure, hepatitis, mechanical jaundice, an empyema of a gall bladder, intestinal impassability.

With care. At a mucoviscidosis it is necessary to appoint drug with care since the dose has to be adequate to quantity and quality of the consumed food.

Storage conditions:

List B. In dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to use after the term specified on packaging.
