Aneuploidy

Aneuploidy (an-– otritsa. a prefix + euploidy – a full range of chromosomes, a synonym: a heteroploidy) – lack of separate chromosomes or their excess number in a genome. The aneuploidy is the cornerstone of a number of chromosomal diseases of the person.
