Acute adrenal insufficiency (addisonichesky crisis) is the acute serious condition resulting from sharp decrease or the termination of production of hormones bark of adrenal glands.
Symptoms of Acute adrenal insufficiency:
Adrenal crisis develops from several hours to several days in time. In the predkrizovy period muscular weakness increases, appetite disappears, muscle pains develop.

At emergence of similar symptoms urgent hospitalization is necessary.

After recovery patients have signs of dysfunction of adrenal glands therefore they need lifelong replacement therapy by synthetic analogs of adrenal hormones.
