Description:
Autoimmune thrombocytopenia – the disease of system of blood connected with antibody formation to own thrombocytes and which is followed by their destruction with formation of a clinical picture of disturbance of coagulability of blood.
Reasons of autoimmune thrombocytopenia:
Are extremely variable and depend on a thrombocytopenia form, for example in case of symptomatic autoimmune trombotsitopeniye the basic disease (leukoses, a pseudorheumatism, hepatitises and many others) defiant disturbance in immune system is the reason of their development; in case of an idiopathic Werlhof's disease as a cause of illness serves failure in system of interaction of immunocompetent cells (cells of immune system) therefore recognition of own antigens is broken; diseases of the bacterial or virus nature, reception of medicines can provoke it.
Classification:
Among trombotsitopeniye of the autoimmune nature distinguish:
1. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (actually autoimmune thrombocytopenia).
2. Thrombocytopenia at other autoimmune frustration.
Symptoms of autoimmune thrombocytopenia:
The clinical picture is shown first of all as thrombopenia effects and therefore it is to some extent not specific. The main symptom — tendency to bleedings as a result of which anemia can develop. The greatest danger, life-threatening the patient, bleedings present to the central nervous system. Also important symptoms are damages of skin and mucous membranes (hemorrhagic diathesis, hypostases).
Diagnosis:
Is based on a clinical picture and data on quantity of thrombocytes in the general blood test. Also the bleeding time is determined by Dyyuka and coagulability according to Li-Whyte.
Treatment of autoimmune thrombocytopenia:
Basic drugs for therapy are glucocorticoid hormones. At critical decrease in level of thrombocytes transfusion of a platelet concentrate is possible.
