Pharmacological properties:

Gel Geparil 1000 when drawing renders antiedematous, anti-exudative, antiinflammatory and atikoagulyatsionny action on skin. Heparin is found in a blood plasma within 24 hours after drug use, at the same time peak concentration of heparin is reached in 8 hours. Removal is carried out preferential through kidneys. Indications to use:

Treatment of diseases of superficial veins, such as varicosity and related complications, phlebothrombosis, thrombophlebitis, superficial periphlebitis. Postoperative varicose phlebitis, complications after surgical removal of a saphena of a leg. Injuries and bruises, infiltrates and the localized hypostases, hypodermic hematomas. Injuries and stretchings muscular and tendinous and capsules - copular structures.

Route of administration and doses:

The adult to use drug 1-3 times a day. To apply 3-10 cm of gel on an affected area of skin and to rub accurately. Duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually taking into account weight of a course of a disease. After putting gel on skin in 1,5-2 minutes it is completely soaked up and does not leave fat spots on hands and linen.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.
The uses of drug given relatively during pregnancy and feeding by a breast are absent.
Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. Drug does not influence ability to manage transport or to service mechanisms.
Children. Owing to limited experience of use children should not appoint drug.

Side effects:

In some cases hypersensitivity reactions, such as reddening, an itch and cutaneous swelling, burning, rash, urticaria, a Quincke's disease, hemorrhages, sometimes - emergence of small pustules, bubbles or bubbles which quickly pass after drug phase-out can be observed. When drawing on big sites of skin system side reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Use of heparin can promote extension of a prothrombin time at the patients accepting peroral anticoagulants. It is not necessary to use drug together with medicines for topical administration, for example, with the drugs containing tetracycline, a hydrocortisone, salicylic acid, anticoagulants.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to heparin or to any other components of drug, including parabens (нипагин, нипазол), trophic ulcers of legs which bleed, open and/or contaminated wounds, hemorrhagic diathesis, a purpura, thrombocytopenia, hemophilia. Tendency to bleedings.
Necessary precautionary measures at use. Gel is applied only on the unimpaired skin. Drug is not applied on the open wounds infected sites of skin in the presence of purulent processes by mucous membranes, eyes and on sites around carefully to weigh a possibility of use of drug Geparil 1000. It is not necessary to appoint drug at bleedings. In case of blood coagulation disturbances gel is not recommended to be applied on big sites of skin. In case of treatment of phlebitis this medicine should not be rubbed in skin.

Overdose:

The drug overdose phenomena are not described so far. Because of insignificant system absorption at local apply danger of overdose of drug is absent. Owing to accidental oral administration of gel the child can have a nausea or vomiting. In that case it is necessary to wash out a stomach, and if necessary – to appoint systematic therapy. Effect of heparin is possible
to neutralize by means of sulfate protamin.

Storage conditions:
