General characteristics. Structure:

Excipients:
Structure of a kernel: lactoses monohydrate - 82.5 mg, cellulose microcrystallic - 50 mg, starch corn - 37 mg, silicon dioxide colloid - 28 mg, talc - 11.25 mg, magnesium stearate - 1.25 mg.

Structure of a cover: a gipromelloz (E464) - 6 mg, a macrogoal of 400 - 1.5 mg, a macrogoal of 6000 - 1.5 mg, titanium dioxide (E171) - 1 mg, gland dioxide red (E172) - 700 mkg.

Pharmacological properties:

The standardized and titrated drug of a plant origin which effect is caused by influence on processes of a metabolism in cells, rheological properties of blood, and also on vasomotor reactions of blood vessels.
Drug improves supply of a brain with oxygen and glucose. Normalizes a tone of arteries and veins, improves microcirculation. Promotes improvement of a blood-groove, interferes with aggregation of erythrocytes. Exerts the braking impact on a factor of activation of thrombocytes.
Improves metabolic processes, has anti-hypoxemic effect on fabrics. Interferes with education of free radicals and peroxide oxidation of lipids of cellular membranes. Influences release, the return capture and a catabolism of neurotransmitters (noradrenaline, acetylcholine, a dopamine, serotonin) and their ability to linkng with membrane receptors.

Indications to use:

Route of administration and doses:

One single dose of solution for intake contains 450 mg of alcohol (57% of v/v), in the maximum daily dose - 1.35 g of alcohol.

Influence on ability to driving of motor transport and to control of mechanisms
During administration of drug performance of potentially dangerous types of activity demanding the increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including control of vehicles, work with moving mechanisms) is not recommended since drug can cause dizziness and solution contains alcohol.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: reddening, skin rash, puffiness, itch, small tortoiseshell.

Dermatological reactions: eczema.
From TsNS: headache, dizziness, sonitus.

Interaction with other medicines:

In clinical trials with EGb 761 both the inhibition, and induction of isoenzymes of P450 cytochrome was revealed. At joint reception of EGb 761 with midazolam the level of the last changed presumably because of impact on CYP3A4. Thus, it is necessary to be careful at joint reception of EGb 761 and drugs, metaboliziruyemy by means of an isoenzyme of CYP3A4 and having a low therapeutic index.

It is not necessary to use drug to the patients who are systematically applying acetylsalicylic acid (as antiagregantny means), anticoagulants (direct and indirect action) and other drugs lowering coagulability of blood.

At simultaneous use of Tanakanum in the form of solution for intake with antibiotics of group of cephalosporins (цефамандол, цефоперазон, латамоксеф), gentamycin, chloramphenicol, Disulfiramum, thiazide diuretics, anticonvulsant drugs, peroral anti-diabetic drugs (Chlorproramidum, Glibenclamidum, глипизид, Tolbutamidum, Metforminum (development of a laktatsidoz)), antifungal drugs (griseofulvin), derivatives 5 nitroimidazoles (metronidazole, орнидазол, секнидазол, Tinidazolum is possible), ketokonazoly, cytostatics (Procarbazinum), tricyclic antidepressants, tranquilizers emergence of such reactions as a hyperthermia, a hyperemia of integuments, vomiting, heartbeat increase as 1 dose of Tanakanum in the form of solution for intake contains 450 mg of alcohol is possible.

Contraindications:

— erosive gastritis in an aggravation stage;
— a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum in an aggravation stage;
— acute disorders of cerebral circulation;
— acute myocardial infarction;
— the lowered coagulability of blood;
— an inborn galactosemia, deficit of lactase, a lactose intolerance, a glucose/galactose sprue (for tablets);
— age up to 18 years;
— pregnancy;
— period of a lactation (breastfeeding);
— hypersensitivity to any of drug components.

With care patients should appoint solution with
alcoholism, liver diseases, craniocereberal injuries and diseases of a brain as drug in the form of solution contains 450 mg of alcohol on 1 dose (1 reception).

Use of the drug TANAKAN® at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
Use of the drug Tanakan® is contraindicated at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation due to the lack of clinical data on use of drug in this group of patients.

Use at abnormal liver functions
With care patients should appoint solution with liver diseases

Use for children
Use of drug for children up to 18 years is contraindicated.

Overdose:

Now about cases of overdose are not registered.
