General characteristics. Structure:
Active agent: 40 mg of a papaverine of a hydrochloride.
Excipients: potato starch, stearic acid, sucrose (sugar) – before receiving a tablet weighing 350 mg.
Description. Tablets of white color, ploskotsilindrichesky with risky and a facet.
Pharmacological properties:
Papaverine the hydrochloride reduces a tone of unstriated muscles and renders in this regard vasodilating and spasmolytic action. Is inhibitor of enzyme of phosphodiesterase and causes intracellular accumulation cyclic 3,5 adenosinemonophosphates and decrease in content of calcium that leads to disturbance of contractility of unstriated muscles and their relaxation at spastic states. Action of a papaverine of a hydrochloride on TsNS is expressed poorly, only in high doses it renders some sedation. In high doses reduces excitability of a cardiac muscle and slows down endocardiac conductivity.
Pharmacokinetics.
Adsorption – high. Gets through gistogematichesky barriers.
It is metabolized in a liver. An elimination half-life – 0,5-2 hours.
It is removed by kidneys (in the form of metabolites).
Indications to use:
Papaverine the hydrochloride is applied to the prevention and treatment of the functional frustration and pains connected with spasms of smooth muscles of vessels, abdominal organs and bronchial tubes.
Appoint at spasms of peripheral vessels (an endarteritis, etc.), vessels of a brain, stenocardia (as a part of complex therapy), a bronchospasm, spasms of smooth muscles of abdominal organs (a pylorospasm, a spastic colitis, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis attacks), at spasms of uric ways, renal colic.
Route of administration and doses:
Inside adults accept 40-80 mg 3-4 times a day; children - 2-4 times a day:
aged from 1 up to 2 years – on 5 mg on reception, 3-4 years – 5-10 mg; 5-6 years - on 10 mg; 7 – 9 years – on 10 – 15 mg; 10-14 years – on 15 – 20 mg.
The highest doses for adults inside: single dose of 200 mg, daily 600 mg.
The highest doses for children inside at the age of 1 year: one-time 5 mg, daily 10 mg, at the age of 2 years - one-time – 10 mg, daily 20 mg; 3-4 years - one-time 15 mg, daily - 30 mg; 5-6 years of-times 20 mg, daily – 40 mg; 7-9 years - one-time 30 mg, daily - 60 mg; 10-14 years - one-time – 50-60 mg; daily 100-200 mg.
The dosage less than 10 mg prepares in production department of a drugstore.
Features of use:
During treatment alcohol intake has to be excluded.
At pregnancy and a lactation safety of drug is not established.
Vazodilatiruyushchy action decreases at tobacco smoking.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions, partial or total atrioventricular block, ventricular premature ventricular contraction, decrease in the ABP, lock, drowsiness, increase in activity of "hepatic" transaminases, eosinophilia are possible.
Interaction with other medicines:
Reduces protivoparkinsonichesky effect of a levodopa and hypotensive effect Methyldopums. In a combination with barbiturates spasmolytic action of a papaverine of a hydrochloride amplifies. At combined use with tricyclic antidepressants, procaineamide, Reserpinum, quinidine sulfate strengthening of hypotensive effect is possible.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug, AV blockade, glaucoma, a heavy liver failure, advanced age (risk of development of a hyperthermia), children's age till 1 year.
With care (in small doses) - a state after a craniocereberal injury, a chronic renal failure, insufficiency of function of adrenal glands, a hypothyroidism, a prostate hyperplasia, supraventricular tachycardia, depressed cases.
Overdose:
Symptoms: diplopia, weakness, decrease in the ABP, drowsiness.
Treatment: symptomatic (maintenance of the ABP).
Storage conditions:
In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity of 5 years. After a period of validity not to use drug.

On 10 tablets in a blister strip packaging from a film of the polyvinyl chloride and printing aluminum foil varnished.
On 2 blister strip packagings with the application instruction place in a pack from a cardboard.
On 10 tablets in planimetric bezjyacheykovy packaging from paper with a polymeric covering.
800 planimetric cell or 700 planimetric bezjyacheykovy packagings with the equal number of application instructions place in group packaging.
