Description:
This acute inflammation of an urethra which main manifestation are allocations from it and an urodynia. The urethritis occurs both at men, and at women.
Symptoms of the Acute urethritis:
The acute urethritis is shown by reddening and puffiness of sponges of its outside opening, and also characterized by inflammatory process in an urethra wall. The purulent discharge follows from an urethra freely or during easy pressing. On linen, especially after night, purulent spots are observed. At palpation of an urethra it seems a little condensed.
Feelings of the patient depend on extent of inflammatory process, the amount of damage of an urethra an inflammation (a front urethritis, a back urethritis, a full urethritis) and existence of complications. At one patients the itch or burning in an urethra is observed, others complain of the severe cutting pains in it at an urination.
Reasons of the Acute urethritis:
The acute urethritis can be gonorrheal, mecotic or nonspecific.
Treatment of the Acute urethritis:
The main treatment of an urethritis is an antibacterial therapy. There are many various antibiotics and himiopreparat, and for each patient I choose the most effective (and available), first of all based on data of laboratory researches. The general course of treatment can proceed from several days to 2 – 3 weeks and depends on disease severity, its stage whether there are complications. Treatment of an urethritis is carried out, as a rule, in out-patient conditions, hospitalize patients with this disease seldom, only at development of heavy purulent complications.
