General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 50 mg of a masterolon in 1 tablet.

Excipients: magnesium stearate, krastel of FD&C Green No. 5, лудипрессÒ (lactose, povidone, кросповидон).

Androgenic hormone.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Compensates deficit of androgens, stimulates development of men's generative organs and secondary sexual characteristics, improves a libido and a potentiality; shows anabolic properties, increases amount of the proteins collecting in fabrics, especially in muscular, accelerates growth of bones and speed of closing of an epiphysis, activates an erythrogenesis.

In the recommended doses does not reduce a spermatogenesis. Drug does not possess a hepatotoxic.

Pharmacokinetics. After oral administration местеролон it is quickly and almost completely absorbed in the range of doses that makes 25–100 mg. The maximum concentration in serum – 3,1±1,1 ng/ml, is reached in 1,6±0,6 h after administration of drug. Elimination half-life sostavlyaet12-13ch. 98% of a mesterolon contact proteins of serum, 40% of a mesterolon contact albumine and 58% – globulin.

Mesterolon is quickly metabolized. It Eskskretirutsya by kidneys only in the form of metabolites. The main metabolite is 1b-methyl-androsterone, in the conjugated form, making 55-70% of the metabolites which are excreted kidneys. Indications to use:

Hypogonadism, psycho-vegetative frustration and decrease in working capacity at disturbance of a potentiality; infertility (at an oligospermatism and insufficiency of cells of Leydiga); aplastic anemia.

Route of administration and doses:

Pill is taken whole without chewing, with enough liquid.

Psycho-vegetative frustration and decrease in working capacity at disturbance of a potentiality: on 75 mg/day before noticeable improvement, then on 25-50 mg daily within many months.

Hypogonadism: for formation of secondary sexual characteristics on 50-100 mg 3 times a day mnogomesyachno; as a maintenance therapy on 50 mg 2-3 times a day.

Features of use:

Mesterolon is intended only for use by male patients.

healthy faces cannot accept androgens for strengthening of muscles or increase in the general physical abilities.

For the purpose of prevention periodic carrying out inspections  of a prostate is recommended.

After reception of a mesterolon education high-quality was very seldom observed, and is even more rare — malignant tumors of a liver. Side effects:

Interaction with other medicines:

Increases efficiency of anticoagulants and hypoglycemic means (it is necessary to change doses), inhibits cyclosporine removal. Inductors of liver enzymes (barbiturates, rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenylbutazone, Phenytoinum) reduce effect of drug.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to active ingredient or any component of drug, a prostate cancer, liver tumors (including and in the anamnesis), children's age.

Overdose:

At acute overdose toxicity of drug extremely low. At chronic overdose development of a priapism is possible. In this case treatment should be stopped, and after disappearance of symptoms - to begin in smaller doses.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature of 15-25 °C, in dry, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after the expiry date specified on packaging.
