Kortonitol-Darnitsa

General characteristics. Structure:

Acting veshchestvo:1 with of ointment contains Hydrocortisoni acetas of 10 mg, Nitazolum of 20 mg; excipients: propylene glycol, liquid paraffin (liquid paraffin), a macrogoal cetostearyl ether, cetostearyl alcohol, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Kortonitol®-Darnitsa ointment – the combined drug which part Hydrocortisoni acetas and antimicrobic means – Nitazolum are.

Hydrocortisoni acetas – a glucocorticosteroid, has antiinflammatory and antiallergic effect. Slows down release of cytokines (interleykin and interferon) from lymphocytes and macrophages, release by eosinophils of mediators of an inflammation oppresses, reduces metabolism of arachidonic acid and synthesis of prostaglandins. Stimulating steroid receptors, induces formation of a lipokortin. Reduces inflammatory cellular infiltrates, reduces migration of leukocytes and lymphocytes to the area of an inflammation. At appointment in the recommended doses does not cause suppression гипоталамо - pituitary and adrenal system.

Nitazolum – shows antibacterial activity concerning stafilokokk, streptococci, colibacillus, a klebsiyella, aerobic spore-forming bacteria, pathogenic anaerobic microorganisms (Bacteroides fragilis, Bacteroides melaninogenicus, Peptococcus, Peptostreptococcus) in the form of monocultures and microbic associations, including microflora, resistant to antibiotics. Drug inefficient concerning a pyocyanic stick and a protea.

Pharmacokinetics. Special physical and chemical characteristics of an ointment basis (the increased osmotic activity), and the high-molecular polymers which are also in a basis with sorption properties, hold active components of ointment on site of drawing and their diffusions in a system blood stream interfere.

Indications to use:

The eczema, allergic dermatitis, psoriasis including complicated by a pyoderma, a pyoderma; ulcers and other defeats of perianal area arising owing to outside displays of a disease Krone, anal fissures, proctites and a proctal itch.

Route of administration and doses:

Kortonitol®-Darnitsa ointment is applied locally. After washing of skin ointment is applied directly on the struck surface.

Ointment of 0,5-2,0 g (1–4 cm) is applied a thin layer on affected areas by 1–2 times a day for 5–14 days at use in dermatology and 2 times a day for 7–14 days – at use in a proctology. Treatment is stopped at disappearance of inflammatory process, an itch and other symptoms.

In the presence in ulcers and erosion of purulent discharges, they are previously cleared solutions: miramistina of 0,01%, Furacilin 1:5000, peroxide of hydrogen of 3% or boric acid of 1-2%.

Features of use:

At use of ointment for children after 1 year is also more senior it is necessary to limit the general duration of treatment and to exclude the actions leading to strengthening of a resorption and absorption of steroids (warming, fixing and occlusive bandages).

For prevention of secondary infectious damage of skin ointment, at long use, recommend to appoint in a combination with antibacterial and antifungal agents.

Effect of ointment partially weakens at its drawing on a surface with high content is purulent - necrotic masses. Therefore it is better to apply ointment on skin after its processing by warm soap solution or, if necessary, solutions of antiseptic agents.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.

Strictly controlled researches on safety and efficiency of use of drug for pregnant women and in the period of a lactation were not conducted. Use is possible only in case the advantage for mother exceeds risk for a fruit. In need of use of Kortonitola®-Darnitsa in the period of a lactation, feeding by a breast should be stopped.

Ability to influence the speed of reactions at control of motor transport or other mechanisms. Does not influence the neuromuscular transmission speed therefore during treatment the control of vehicles and occupation other potentially dangerous types of activity demanding the increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions is possible.

Children.

Drug is not appointed to children of the first year of life.

Side effects:

At ointment use sometimes there is a feeling of easy burning. Development of consecutive infection on site of putting ointment, at the expense of microorganisms not sensitive to Nitazolum is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Efficiency of treatment by Kortonitol®-Darnitsa ointment can increase at co-administration of system antibiotics and antimicrobic means.

Efficiency of treatment by Kortonitol®-Darnitsa ointment decreases at co-administration of other ointments containing sorbents.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to a hydrocortisone to acetate and Nitazolum. The tuberculosis cutis which is localized in the place of application of ointment, the diseases caused by a virus of herpes and syphilitic damages of skin, skin reactions after vaccination. Carcinoma cutaneum. Drug is not appointed to pregnant women and children of the first year of life.

Overdose:

It is improbable. When putting ointment on the extensive surfaces of the affected skin, the possibility of partial hit of active components of ointment in a system blood stream in the quantities not capable to cause overdose is not excluded.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity. 2 years. To store in original packaging, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. Freezing of drug is not allowed.
