General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: mix of sterile filtrates of fagolizat of bacteria Proteus vulgaris, Proteus mirabilis and enteropathogenic Escherichia coli of various serogroups, the most significant in an etiology of pyoinflammatory and enteral diseases.
Excipients: preservative – 8 hydroxyquinolines sulfate - 0,0001 g/ml (contents settlement); or 8 hydroxyquinolines of sulfate monohydrate - 0,0001 g/ml (in terms of 8 hydroxyquinolines sulfate, contents settlement).
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. Drug causes a specific lysis of bacteria of P. vulgaris, P. mirabilis, E. coli.
Indications to use:
Treatment and prevention of pyoinflammatory and enteral diseases, the dysbacterioses caused by bacteria a protea and enteropathogenic colibacillus as a part of complex therapy:

diseases of an ear, throat, nose, respiratory tracts and lungs (inflammation of bosoms of a nose, middle ear, quinsy, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy);

surgical infections (suppurations of wounds, burns, abscess, phlegmon, furuncles, anthrax, hydroadenitis, felons, paraproctitis, mastitis, bursitis, osteomyelitis);

urogenital infections (urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis, colpitis, endometritis, salpingo-oophoritis);
-
enteral infections (gastroenterocolitis, cholecystitis), intestinal dysbiosis;

generalized septic diseases;
-
pyoinflammatory diseases of newborns (omphalitis, pyoderma, conjunctivitis, gastroenterocolitis, sepsis, etc.);

other diseases caused by Proteus and colibacillus.
Important condition of an effective phagotherapy is preliminary definition of a phagosensitivity of the activator.
Route of administration and doses:
Drug is used for intake (through a mouth), rectal administration, applications, irrigations, introduction to cavities of wounds, vaginas, a uterus, a nose, bosoms of a nose and the trained cavities.

Depending on the infection center the bacteriophage is applied:
1. In the form of irrigation, lotions and packing in volume to 200 ml depending on the sizes of an affected area. At abscess after removal of purulent contents by means of a puncture the drug is administered in quantity smaller, than the volume of remote pus. At osteomyelitis after the corresponding surgical treatment in a wound pour in a bacteriophage on 10-20 ml.
2. At introduction to cavities (pleural, joint and other limited cavities) to 100 ml then leave a capillary drainage through which the bacteriophage is entered within several days.
