General characteristics. Structure:
Flowers of a marigold of melkonarezanny 100 g, alcohol of ethyl 70% enough before receiving 1 l of tincture.
Pharmacological properties:
Tinctura Calendulae renders antiseptic, cholagogue, spasmolytic and local antiinflammatory action.
Indications to use:
Apply outwardly as antiseptic and anti-inflammatory drug at cuts, bruises, eczemas, stomatitises, tonsillitis, pharyngitises and other similar diseases. Tinctura Calendulae is applied also in gynecologic practice to treatment of erosion of a neck of uterus. Tincture is accepted inside as cholagogue means.
Route of administration and doses:
Apply at small cuts, burns, superficial wounds, to rinsing of a throat at inflammatory diseases of upper respiratory tracts, at quinsy and other diseases. At topical administration and for rinsing of a throat aqueous solution 1:40 is used (1 teaspoon on a glass of water).
