General characteristics. Structure:
Active agent: 50 mg of a dekspantenol. Excipients: the ketomacrogoal, tsetearit октаноат, цетанол, диметикон, glyceryl monostearate, propylene glycol, methylparahydroxybenzoate, пропилпарагидроксибензоат, the water purified Seaside fragrance.
Pharmacological properties:
Dekspantenol - derivative pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid - water-soluble vitamin of group B – is a component of a coenzyme of A. Stimuliruyet regeneration of skin, normalizes cellular metabolism, increases durability of collagenic fibers. Increase in need for pantothenic acid is observed at damage of an integument or fabrics, and its shortcoming can be filled with mastny use of D-panthenol. The optimum molecular weight, hydrophily and a low-polarity do possible its penetration into all layers of skin. Has the regenerating, weak antiinflammatory effect, nourishes and softens skin. Excipients improve properties of cream.
Indications to use:
The injuries of skin of easy degree caused by mechanical, chemical, thermal and other factors: scratches, grazes, irritations after influence ultra-violet (including solar) and x-ray emission, burns of various origin (including solar), dermatitis. At children of early age – for prevention and treatment of a diaper dermatitis of easy degree. At nursing mothers – for prevention and treatment of nipple cracks of mammary glands. Protection of skin against influence of adverse climatic factors (crusting and frostbite). Prevention and treatment of an intertrigo of easy degree at children and adults. Processing of skin around trakheosty, gastrostomies and kolosty.
Route of administration and doses:
Cream is applied locally 2-4 times a day (in need of a thicket). It is applied with a thin layer on an affected area of skin, slightly rubbing. In case of drawing on the infected surface of skin, it should be processed previously any antiseptic agent. To the feeding mothers to grease the surface of a nipple with cream after each feeding by a breast. Apply to babies cream after each change of linen or a hydrotherapeutic procedure.
Features of use:
Only for external use. Not to apply on the becoming wet wounds.
Side effects:
Drug is well transferred. By-effects develop exclusively seldom. Insignificant allergic reactions are possible.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to one of drug components.
