Пантодерм®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 50 mg of a dekspantenol.

Excipients: vaseline, liquid paraffin, almond oil, wax white, lanolin anhydrous, cetostearyl alcohol, lanolin alcohols, water.

The drug rendering the regenerating, metabolic and weak antiinflammatory action.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Group B vitamin - derivative pantothenic acid. Dekspantenol passes in an organism into pantothenic acid which is a component of coenzyme A and participates in acetylation processes, carbohydrate and a lipometabolism, in synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids, porphyrines; stimulates regeneration of skin, mucous membranes, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates a mitosis and increases durability of collagenic fibers

Pharmacokinetics. At topical administration it is quickly absorbed by skin and turns into pantothenic acid, contacts proteins of plasma (mainly with beta globulin and albumine).

Its concentration in blood of-0,5-1 mg/l, in blood serum - 100 mkg/l. Pantothenic acid is not exposed in an organism to metabolism (except inclusion in Ko-and), is removed in an invariable look.

Indications to use:

Xeroderma; treatment of the injured skin: small damages burns (including solar), grazes, violent dermatitis, abscess, a furuncle, trophic ulcers of a shin, decubituses, cracks, aseptic postoperative wounds which are badly getting accustomed skin transplants; treatment and prevention of cracks and an inflammation of papillas of the breast during a lactation; prevention and treatment of an intertrigo at babies.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. ^{Пантодерм®} apply on the damaged or inflamed site of skin one or several times in days.

Care of mammary glands of nursing mothers: ointment is applied on nipples after each feeding; it is possible to use in the form of a compress.

Care of babies: ointment is applied at each change of a diaper (diaper).

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply until expiry date.

Ointment for external use of 5%. 30 g in a tuba of aluminum. Each tuba together with the application instruction in a pack from a cardboard.
