Chemical opsin

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 50 mg of mix of trypsin and chymotrypsin.

The fermental drug received from a pancreas of cattle and having proteolytic (nekrolitichesky), the antiinflammatory and stimulating regeneration mechanism of medical action.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Fermental drug of proteolytic action, splits necrotic fabric, without having effect on living tissue, owing to existence in it of specific antienzymes. Liquefies viscous secrets and exudates.

Indications to use:

Suppurative bronchopulmonary diseases:

— bronchoectatic disease;

— lung abscess;

— atelectasis;

— exudative pleurisy (for fluidifying of a dense viscous phlegm and sanitation of respiratory tracts).

Diseases of ENT organs:

— purulent sinusitis;

— purulent otitis (acute, subacute, chronic);

— an eustachitis with viscous exudate;

— after a tracheostomy for simplification of removal of dense viscous exudate;

— chronic rhinitis.

In ophthalmology:

— cornea diseases (ulcer, herpetic keratitis);

— burn of a mucous membrane of an eye;

— impassability of slezovyvodyashchy channels;

— failure of healing of wounds of skin century.

Burns, decubituses, trophic ulcers, purulent wounds (cleaning from it is purulent - necrotic masses, healing acceleration).

Route of administration and doses:

At diseases of a respiratory organs drug in a dose of 25-30 mg is dissolved in 5 ml of the distilled water and entered into respiratory tracts via the inhalation device, the bronchoscope, the endotracheal probe, a tracheostomy tube. Number of inhalations - from 1 to 3 times a day within several days depending on indications. It is possible to add the antibiotics, bronchodilatory means strengthening effect of chemical opsin to solutions of drug.

At chronic rhinitises dig in or 2-3 times a day irrigate with Himopsin's solution a nasal cavity (5 mg in 5 ml of 0.9% of solution of sodium of chloride). At the chronic purulent otitises complicated by a cholesteatoma after washing of 0.9% solution of sodium of chloride dig in in an ear 0.5% Himopsin's solution (for 0.9% chloride sodium solution) 2-3 times a day.

At thermal burns of the III degree on a scab a thin film of Himopsin at the rate of 1 g on 100 ^cm2 of a wound surface is applied and covered with the bandage moistened in 0.9% solution of sodium of chloride or 0.25% Procainum solution. From above the water-proof bandage for delay of drying of bandages is applied. Change of bandages is made in a day.

At treatment of purulent wounds and decubituses drug is used in doses of 25-50 mg (in 10-50 ml of 0.25% of solution of Procainum). Solution moistens sterile gauze tampons which are imposed on a wound surface for a period of 2 hours about one days depending on thickness is purulent - necrotic masses. Bandages with Himopsin change every 3-5 days.

At treatment of ulcers, burns of a cornea and a keratitis Himopsin is applied in the form of eye trays in solution 1:500 daily within 2-3 days or in the form of drops of 0.25% of solution (ex tempore prepares) 4 times a day within 1-2 days on 2 drops.

For treatment of impassability of slezootvodyashchy ways and wounds of skin a century drug is used in the form of 1% of solution (ex tempore prepares), by irrigation of a wound and washing of slezootvodyashchy ways.

Features of use:

Before drug use to the persons inclined to allergic reactions, it is necessary to enter a single therapeutic dose of antihistaminic drugs (subcutaneously or intramusculary). In the next few hours after inhalations of the patient has to cough up carefully a phlegm or it should be deleted with a suction.

There are no data on use of drug at pregnancy and during feeding by a breast.

It is contraindicated at dystrophy and cirrhosis, a viral hepatitis.

Side effects:

Emergence of allergic reactions is possible.

After inhalation introduction: occasionally hoarseness of a voice, irritation of a mucous membrane of respiratory tracts, the fast-passing subfebrialny temperature.

In ophthalmology: the irritation and puffiness of a conjunctiva can be noted; in such cases it is recommended to reduce concentration of the used drug.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not described.

Contraindications:

— chronic heart failure of the II-III degree;

— malignant new growths;

— emphysema of lungs with respiratory insufficiency;

— pulmonary tuberculosis (open form);

— dystrophy and cirrhosis;

— viral hepatitis;

— pancreatitis;

— hemorrhagic diathesis;

— hypersensitivity to chemical opsin.

It is impossible to enter into the bleeding cavities, to apply on ulcerated surfaces of malignant tumors.

With care: an empyema of a pleura of a tubercular etiology (the rassasyvaniye of exudate can promote development of a bronchopleural fistula).

Storage conditions:

In dry, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above +20 °C. A period of validity - 3 years.
