General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients:
Pheniramine of a maleate of 0,025 g (25 mg)
Paracetamol of 0,500 g (500 mg)
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) of 0,200 g (200 mg)
Excipients: citric acid, saccharin soluble, sugar, natural fragrance.

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug which effect is caused by effects of the components which are its part. Pheniramine a maleate – inhibitor histamine H1 receptors, have antihistaminic effect, allow to reduce allocations from a nose, the nose congestion, dacryagogue and eliminates sneezing. Paracetamol has the expressed analgeziruyushchy and febrifugal effect. Ascorbic acid compensates a lack of vitamin C of an organism.

Indications to use:

 - a symptomatic treatment of "catarrhal" diseases (influenzal states, a SARS) which are followed by fever and cold 
- allergic rhinitis, nasopharyngitis.

Route of administration and doses:

To adults and children 15 years are more senior: on 1 bag 2-3 times a day. To dissolve bag contents in a glass of warm water. The interval between administrations of drug has to make not less than 4 hours.
It is not necessary to accept drug more than 3 days as an antipyretic and more than 5 days as anesthetic.

Features of use:

Patients with a diabetes mellitus or the patients who are on a diet with the lowered content of sugar have to consider that each bag contains 11,6 g of sugar.
The drivers of vehicles and persons working at cars/mechanisms at use of drug should pay attention to risk of emergence of drowsiness.
In order to avoid toxic damage of a liver, drug should not be combined with reception of alcoholic beverages. Not to accept with other drugs (in particular, with sedative) without consultation with the doctor.
Not to exceed the recommended doses. Not to apply at renal failures without consultation with the doctor.
At accidental overdose immediately to see a doctor.

Side effects:

Skin allergic reactions (rash, itch, urticaria), nausea, pains in a stomach, dryness in a mouth, frustration of an urination, accommodation disturbance (ability of an eye to adapt to various distances) are seldom possible, elderly people have a confusion of consciousness or excitement.
Thrombocytopenia (decrease in level of maintenance of thrombocytes) is extremely seldom noted that can cause nasal bleedings, bleeding of gums. In similar cases it is necessary to stop immediately administration of drug and to see a doctor.
At long reception in high doses can arise an abnormal liver function and kidneys.
It is necessary to report about the similar (unusual) effects of drug including which are not specified in the instruction to the attending physician.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not recommended to combine drug with antidepressants – monoaminooxidase inhibitors. The risk of a hepatotoxic action of paracetamol increases at co-administration of barbiturates, dipheninum, carbamazepine, rifampicin, a zidovudine and other inductors of microsomal enzymes of a liver.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to drug components;
- the expressed abnormal liver functions and kidneys;
- bronchial asthma;
- the frustration of an urination connected with a prostatauxe;
- blood diseases;
- deficit gluco-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy;
- pregnancy and period of breastfeeding;
- children's age – up to 15 years.

Storage conditions:

To store in the place, dry and unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C.
Period of validity 2 years. This medicine cannot be used after the date specified on packaging.
