General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: norfloxacin of 400 mg

Excipients: cellulose microcrystallic, the talc purified starch sodium glycollate, silicon dioxide colloid, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, a gidroksipropilmetiltsellyuloz, titanium dioxide.

Pharmacological properties:

Antibacterial drug from group of ftorkhinolon. Possesses a wide range of bactericidal action.
It is highly active concerning gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Haemophilus ducreyi, Klebsiella spp. (including Klebsiella pneumoniae), Morganella morganii, Neisseria spp. (including Neisseria gonorrhoeae), Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter spp., Chlamydia trachomatis, Citrobacter freundii, Serratia spp., Yersinia spp.
It is active concerning gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus (including the strains producing a penicillinase, and Methicillinum - resistant strains), Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus saprophyticus, some strains of Streptococcus spp.
Enterococcus spp are a little sensitive to drug. and Acinetobacter spp.
Anaerobic bacteria are steady against Normaks.

Pharmacokinetics. At intake 30-40% of a dose are absorbed, meal reduces absorption speed. Norfloxacin is well distributed in fabrics of urinogenital system. About 30% of active agent are removed with urine in not changed look.
At topical administration of drug therapeutic concentration of active agent is reached in fabrics and biological liquids of an eye or in ear tissues.

Indications to use:

For intake
Treatment of the infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms, sensitive to drug:
— diseases of urinary tract;
— infections of bodies of a small pelvis (including an adnexitis, prostatitis);
— intestinal infections;
— infections of skin and soft tissues;
— infections of adnexal bosoms of a nose, throat, throat, middle ear;
— ophthalmologic infections.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside accept 400 mg of 2 times/days. At heavy infections it is possible to increase a single dose to 800 mg. Duration of treatment is defined individually. The minimum course of treatment makes 3 days.

Features of use:

Нормакс in the form of tablets it is necessary to apply with care at patients with the epilepsy, a convulsive syndrome of other etiology expressed by abnormal liver functions and/or kidneys.

It is necessary to take drug not less, than for 2 h to or in 2 h after reception of the antiacid means or drugs containing iron, magnesium, zinc or сукральфат.

Side effects:

From the alimentary system: nausea, heartburn, anorexia, diarrhea, abdominal pains.
From TsNS: headache, dizziness, feeling of fatigue, frustration of a dream, irritability, feeling of alarm.
From an urinary system: intersticial nephrite is possible.
Allergic reactions: at intake and topical administration skin rash, an itch, a Quincke's edema are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At a concomitant use of Normaks and warfarin anticoagulating action of the last amplifies.
At a concomitant use of Normaks and cyclosporine increase in concentration of the last in a blood plasma is noted.
At a concomitant use of Normaks with the antacids or drugs containing iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, сукральфат absorption of norfloxacin decreases due to formation of complexons with ions of metals.

Contraindications:

— children's and teenage age up to 15 years;
— pregnancy;
— lactation (breastfeeding);
— hypersensitivity to a norfloksaktsin and other drugs of a ftorkhinolonovy row.

Use of drug HOPMAKC at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
Drug is not recommended for use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding).

Use at abnormal liver functions
Нормакс in the form of tablets it is necessary to apply with care at patients with the expressed abnormal liver functions.

Use at renal failures
Нормакс in the form of tablets it is necessary to apply with care at patients with the expressed renal failures.

Use for children
Drug is contraindicated to children and teenagers up to 15 years.

Overdose:

Now about cases of overdose of drug of Normaks it was not reported.

Treatment: if necessary carry out symptomatic therapy; it is necessary to provide sufficient intake of liquid in an organism, creation of acid reaction of urine for prevention of a crystalluria.

Storage conditions:
