General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents:
Hlorgeksidina diacetate       of 2,00 mg
Pantocain hydrochloride      of 0,20 mg
Ascorbic acid          of 50,00 mg

Excipients: sugar, glucose syrup, natural oils, aromatic mint additive, E-120 dye, water.

Pharmacological properties:

Antibacterial activity: being a part хлоргексидин destroys causative agents of infectious diseases of an oral cavity and throat (streptococci, staphylococcus, pneumococci, korinebakteriya, a stick of an influenza, a klebsiyell).
Antifungal activity: хлоргексидин it is active at candidiases.
Mestnoobezbolivayushchy action: thanks to local anesthetic to pantocain.
Vitamin C increases body resistance to infectious diseases.

Indications to use:

Prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat (such, as: stomatitis, an ulitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, periodontosis, an initial stage of quinsy, a state after a tonsilectomy or extraction of tooth, etc.).

Route of administration and doses:

Locally. To hold in a mouth to a full rassasyvaniye. Adults: 6 pastils a day at an interval of the 2nd hour. Children from 5 to 10 years: 3 pastils a day with an interval of 4 hours.

Features of use:

It is not recommended to apply along with the drugs for treatment of an oral cavity and a throat containing iodine (Lugol solution, povidone-iodine). The ascorbic acid which is a part of drug can change results of some laboratory tests what it is necessary to report when carrying out analyses about.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

Pantocain reduces antibacterial activity of sulfanamide drugs. Vasoconstrictors extend effect and reduce toxicity of pantocain.

Ascorbic acid increases concentration in blood of benzylpenicillin and tetracyclines, increases risk of development of a crystalluria at treatment by salicylates and streptocides of short action, reduces concentration in blood of oral contraceptives.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, children's age up to 5 years.
For tablets for a rassasyvaniye (in addition): I trimester of pregnancy.

Overdose:

Symptoms: dizziness, general weakness, cyanosis, excitement, concern, muscular tremor, breath disturbance, nausea, vomiting.
