Godasal

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, 250 mg of glycine.

Pharmacological properties:

As a part of drug Godasal the 500th acetylsalicylic acid suppresses moderate and average force pain, reduces the increased body temperature. In higher doses also possesses antiinflammatory action. Glycine protects a mucous membrane of a stomach; by acceleration of solubility of acetylsalicylic acid accelerates its absorption and approach of effect.

Indications to use:

Godasal 500 accept at head and the dentagras, dorsodynias, joints and muscles accompanying acute respiratory viral diseases at painful periods. It is often used as an antipyretic at the SARS and other diseases which are followed by high temperature of a body. Without recommendation of the doctor Godasal 500 adults can accept and teenagers are more senior than 14 years. Children aged from 6 to 14 years accept Godasal 500 only according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Route of administration and doses:

For decrease in short-term pain and decrease in high temperature adults and children are more senior than 14 years accept 1 — 2 tablet 3 — 4 р / days. The maximum daily dose — 8 tablets.

Children aged from 6 to 14 years accept Godasal 500 only on doctor's orders. If the doctor does not appoint differently, a usual daily dose for children from 6 to 14 years — ½ — 1 tablet 2 — 3 р / days, with an interval between separate receptions not less than 4 hours.

It is better to take a pill dissolved in a small amount of water, after food.

Features of use:

If temperature and pains do not decrease after 3 days of reception of acetylsalicylic acid, it is necessary to see a doctor. Also it is necessary to see a doctor in case of Godasal's reception 500 longer, than 7 days. Before surgical intervention, including an exodontia, inform the doctor on drug use Godasal 500. At prolonged use of acetylsalicylic acid it is regularly necessary to carry out blood test and to trace the hidden blood loss from a GIT.

Side effects:

As a rule, Godasal 500 is well had. During administration of drug there can be indispositions from a GIT: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pains, extremely seldom gastrointestinal bleeding; patients with hypersensitivity can have allergic reactions (skin rash, asthma attack). In isolated cases disturbances of a liver and kidneys, a hypoglycemia, thrombocytopenia, an agranulocytosis, a pancytopenia, aplatichesky anemia, heavy skin reaction (Stephens-Johnson's syndrome, a Lyell's disease) were observed. At long reception there can be raised bleeding which is shown unusual developing of bruises, bleeding from a nose or gums. Children can have Ray's syndrome (vomiting, high temperature, neuromental disorders, spasms). At emergence of these side effects it is necessary to see a doctor immediately.

Interaction with other medicines:

Godasal 500 increases effect of anticoagulants – derivative coumarin and heparin, heart glucosides, barbiturates and lithium. Increases risk of development of bleeding from a GIT at treatment by glucocorticoids and a concomitant use of alcohol. Increases medical and side effects of nonsteroid antirheumatic means and a methotrexate. Increases action of the peroral anti-diabetics containing sulphonylurea, sulfonamides and triiodothyronine. Reduces action of some anti-hypertensive means, diuretics (Spironolactonum, furosemide) and uricosuric means (a probenetsid, Sulfinpyrazonum). Increases concentration of antidepressants in a blood plasma. Antacids can reduce effect of drug Godasal 500.

Contraindications:

Drug cannot be accepted at hypersensitivity to salicylates, glycine and excipients; at a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum, bronchial asthma, gout, tendency to bleedings, a heavy abnormal liver function and kidneys, at the surgical interventions connected with massive bleeding.

Women in the first and third trimesters of pregnancy cannot accept Godasal 500, administration of drug in the second trimester of pregnancy is possible only on doctor's orders. Prolonged use of drug Godasal 500 during feeding by a breast is not recommended.

Overdose:

High doses of acetylsalicylic acid can cause dizzinesses, a sonitus, disturbances of consciousness and breath. At overdose or administration of drug by children (aged up to 6 years) immediately see a doctor.
