General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents:
5 ml of syrup of 2,5% (1 measured spoon) contain: karbotsisteina of 125,00 mg.
5 ml of syrup of 5% (1 measured spoon) contain: karbotsisteina of 250,00 mg
Excipients: глицерол 135,00 mg, ethanol of 96% 125,00 mg, sodium hydroxide of 30,5 mg (61,00 mg), a karmelloza of sodium of 20,00 mg, citric acid monohydrate of 5.00 mg (10,00 mg), methylparahydroxybenzoate of 9,00 mg, sodium saccharinate of 5,00 mg, пропилпарагидроксибензоат 1,00 mg, fragrance of crimson 0,70 mg, an azoruby of CI 14720 (Е 122) 0,05 mg, the water purified to 5,00 ml.

Description. Transparent slightly viscous liquid with a raspberry smell, from pink till red color.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Mucolytic and expectorant action is caused by activation of sialine transferase – enzyme of scyphoid cells of a mucous membrane of bronchial tubes. Normalizes a quantitative ratio of acid and neutral sialomutsin of a bronchial secret, recovers viscosity and elasticity of slime. Promotes regeneration of a mucous membrane, normalizes its structure, stirs up activity of a ciliate epithelium. Recovers secretion immunological of active IgA (specific protection) and the number of sulphhydryl groups of components of slime (nonspecific protection), improves mukotsiliarny clearance.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption – bystry and almost full. Bioavailability – low (less than 10% of the accepted dose). Time of achievement of the maximum concentration in blood and in a mucous membrane – 1.5-2 h, therapeutic concentration remains in blood during 8 h. Most longer is late in blood, a liver and a middle ear. In high concentration collects in a bronchial secret (17.5% of the accepted dose).
It is metabolized in a liver (has effect of "the first passing" through a liver).
It is removed by kidneys (60-90% in not changed look, the rest – in the form of metabolites).
Elimination half-life – 2-3.15 h. Full removal happens in 3 days.

Indications to use:

The acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases which are followed by disturbance of education and removal of slime (tracheitis, bronchitis, a tracheobronchitis, bronchial asthma, a bronchoectatic disease); inflammatory diseases of a middle ear and adnexal bosoms of a nose (rhinitis, average otitis, sinusitis); training of the patient for a bronkhoskopiya or bronchography.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside.
For a dosage of syrup the measured spoon of 5 ml graduated on 2,5 ml is used.
1 measured spoon of syrup of 5% (5 ml) = 250 mg of a karbotsisten
1 measured spoon of syrup of 2,5% (5 ml) = 125 mg of a karbotsistein
Adult: on 15 ml (3 measured spoons) of 5% of syrup three times a day
To children at the age of 3-6 years – on 5 ml (1 measured spoon) of 2,5% of syrup 2-4 times a day.
To children 6 years – on 5-10 ml (1-2 measured spoons) of 2,5% of syrup 3 times a day are more senior.

Features of use:

Content of alcohol in drug makes 125 mg / 5 ml, that is 125 mg of alcohol on a measured spoon.

Influence on ability to manage transport and to work at machines
The disturbance of speed of psychomotor reactions connected with presence at alcohol drug can constitute danger during the driving of the car or work on machines.

Side effects:

From digestive tract:
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and pain in epigastriums, gastrointestinal bleeding is sometimes noted.
Hypersensitivity reaction:
Isolated cases of allergic reactions (skin itch, small tortoiseshell, dieback, Quincke's disease) are celebrated.
Others: dizziness, weakness, indisposition.
At patients with bronchial asthma and at elderly patients emergence of obstruction of respiratory tracts is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Increases efficiency glucocorticoid (mutually) and antibacterial therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of upper and lower respiratory tracts.
Potentsiiruyet broncholitic effect of theophylline. Activity of a karbotsistein is weakened by antibechic and atropinopodobny means.
Because of the content of alcohol of Bronkhobos appoint with care with the following drugs:
The drugs causing adverse reactions (heat, redness, vomiting, tachycardia) at a concomitant use with alcoholic beverages: Disulfiramum, цефамандол, цефоперазон, латамоксеф (tsefalosporinovy antibiotics), chloramphenicol (fenikolovy antibiotic), Chlorproramidum, Glibenclamidum, глипизид, Tolbutamidum (sulphamide anti-diabetic drugs), griseofulvin (anti-fungal drug), nitro-5-imidazoles (metronidazole, орнидазол, секнидазол, Tinidazolum), кетоконазол, Procarbazinum (cytostatics).

Contraindications:

– Liver diseases,
– Alcoholism,
– Epilepsy,
– Injury or diseases of a brain,
– Hypersensitivity to drug or to the auxiliary components entering it;
– A peptic ulcer of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut in an aggravation stage;
– A chronic glomerulonephritis (in an aggravation phase);
– Cystitis;
– Children's age up to 3 years (for syrup of 2,5%), children's age up to 15 years (for syrup of 5%).

Use at pregnancy and a lactation
Use of the drug Bronkhobos® at pregnancy and a lactation is contraindicated.

With care
peptic ulcer of a stomach and 12-perstny gut (in the anamnesis).

Overdose:

Symptoms: stomach aches, nausea, diarrhea.
Treatment: symptomatic.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature from 15 ° up to 30 °C. To store in the place, unavailable from children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after a period of validity.
