General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: эконазол - 1,0 g.
Excipients: polysorbate 20; benzyl alcohol; sorbitan laurate; N-[2-a hydroxyethyl - N-[2-(laurilamino) - ethyl] - aminosodium acetate 3,6,9-trioksodokozit sulfate; macrogoal 6000th distearate (polyoxyethylene glycol 6000 distearate); lactic acid; the water purified.

Description: transparent, dense, light yellow solution.

Pharmacological properties:

Ekonazol – synthetic derivative an imidazole. Has local pritivogribkovy and antibacterial effect. Slows down biosynthesis of the ergosterol regulating permeability of a cell wall of microorganisms. It is easily dissolved in lipids and well gets into fabrics. It is active concerning dermatophytes of Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton, drozhzhepodobny mushrooms of the sort Candida, and also Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum orbiculare) causing a chromophytosis and Corinebacterium minutissimum); some gram-positive bacteria (streptococci, staphylococcus).

Indications to use:

Vulvovaginitis, colpitis of a fungal etiology.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. 10 cubic cm (1 dose) of solution Ifenek need to be parted in warm water in the ratio 1:1 and to wash out external genitals. Solution prepares just before use. Drug is used by one or two times a day within 3-5 days.

Features of use:

During treatment it is necessary to refrain from sexual contacts. Treatment of the sexual partner is obligatory.

Side effects:

Local irritation, burning sensation, itch, spasm of muscles of a basin, skin rashes and headache. At emergence of side effects it is necessary to stop drug use. If there are side effects which are not specified in this information, then it is necessary to report about them to the doctor.

Contraindications:
