Water for injections

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: the purified water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Solvent, is applied to preparation of infusion and injection solutions, providing optimal conditions for compatibility and efficiency of substrates and water.

Indications to use:

Dissolution and cultivation of medicines for their parenteral (injection) administration. It is applied for the purpose of preparation of sterile infusion (injection) solutions from powders, liofilizat and concentrates.

Route of administration and doses:

Subcutaneously, intramusculary, intravenously, vnutriarterialno after dissolution or cultivation of medicines. Preparation of solutions of medicines using water for injections is carried out in aseptic conditions (opening of ampoules, filling of the syringe and tanks with medicines).

The amount of water for injections for the purpose of preparation of solution of specific means is defined by the application instruction of the last or depending on a situation - the doctor.

Features of use:

Do not mix with water Solutio oleosa for injections, outside means for cauterization. Water for injections cannot be, is directly entered intravascularly because of low osmotic pressure (risk of hemolysis!).

Interaction with other medicines:

When mixing with other medicines it is necessary to control visually compatibility (pharmaceutical incompatibility can take place).

Contraindications:

Not to apply to dissolution and cultivation of medicines for which as obligatory other solvent is specified.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 30 °C. Not to freeze. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 4 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging

Packaging:

Solvent for preparation of dosage forms for injections. On 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 ml in ampoules of neutral glass. On 5 ampoules in a blister strip packaging from a film of polyvinyl chloride and aluminum foil or without foil. On 1, 2 or on 10 blister strip packagings together with a knife for opening of ampoules or the scarificator ampoule ceramic and the application instruction in a pack from a cardboard for a retail container. When using ampoules with a ring of a break or a point of a break the knife or the scarificator do not put.
